sometimes I think of moving to a different country altogether with my hubby....like Dubai.....this immigration keeps me up at nights, only praying is helping me right now!!

I know a couple (Indian), whereas, the wife came on visit visa and applied work permit to bypass the spousal sponsorship timeline. Basically what happened was, immigration Canada asked the wife to return after two years (of living together in Canada) and apply via spousal sponsorship again (to obtain citizenship). India being 10 months for spousal sponsorship Canadian immigration delayed their case to about 28 months. (Obviously it was deliberate). I was shocked to hear it and he tried everything to keep her here. (But CIC sent her back and made her come via spousal way).

Thanks for sharing, I could have never guessed this could be an outcome to bypass the spousal immigration!! GULP!!

sorry i meant to say work permit in middle east lol

its just that every single case is different. and I secretly pray for my husband to get here by the end of this year. its so hard to say that person did it the right way and the other one went the wrong way.

Yes Naqibee, Obviously, we want our love one here as soon as possible. However, when we try to out smart the system they came back and bite us. As we know they don't really care if our spouse is here or not. That is why our timelines are up to two years. We just have to sit back and wait. At the end is safe if our spouse arrives the right way. It may take a few months extra but once is over its over. Bypassing there are chances they came after us later and break us apart. (That will hurt a lot more)....

no no no naqibee asked if im looking for a job for my husband here.. thats y i said not here somewhere in the middle east. any place is better than leaving my husband alone in Pakistan right now. every time even if hes delayed by 30 mins or an hour it gives me a heart attack and i go crazy and call him until i hear his voice or receive his msg tht hes stuck in traffic or light nahi hai. every day you hear people getting threatened, getting shot and what not.

i mean its okay when im with him there but him all alone, scares me. if i could id love to move back to Pakistan but their actions towards minorities, my family will never allow me
