well I am actually filing my case through a consultant (finalizing the forms this week), will cost me 3grand but he did it for a friend of mine and his wife got here in 14months which is why I am using him. Another consultant who is a friend of a friend said it is 6months for sure. I checked with the MP office, nothing, my current consultant, nothing and browsed everywhere on the net for a news clip but no luck.
I think the consultant who told me must have had an epiphany

Whatever happened to the meeting in sauga on the weekend to file a petition or protest? I am seriously thinking about going to the international court of law as i feel this is totaly inhumane to keep your spouse away from you for so long and make it a "human right" issue. Anyone second that?

Haha no bro they re lucky enough if i had mubarak hands my own application would have been done quicker. But i do pray for all of us

Please sis do tell us what was so specific in their application that it got treated so fast, it is not 1 but 2 applications that got processed so fast, I am amazed.

As you help them fill it, it will be nice to tell us a little more about it so it can help others if they are in same situation.

Nothing special they had lots of photos and communications one was love marriage he had proofs from childhood both husband and wife's photos from when they used to hang out as kids in backhome and he filed his application 3 months after the marriage the one who got it after 5 months was new to Canada as soon as he got his PR card went back home and got married. He wasnt expecting it that quick either. and the one who had lots of fotos from childhood was a Canadian citizen his wife got a call from chc to send her passport soon cause her medical was abt to expire in 25 days and visa was issued within a week

Just checked my ecas after two weeks... Lol I dunno whether to laugh or how to react! Just want to know if the people working on our files are Pakistanis or Canadian? Something funny happened, when I checked my ecas using UCI and my husband's info who is sponsor, I found 'In process' under application status which was previously changed to 'decision made' just after a month of filing our application. LOL!!! The matter is same when I clicked it that application received on this date and decision has been made and stuff... Should I get worried?

Well finally I have access to my Ecas too after two weeks.. And I got the same thing under my UCI I am getting a ""in Process"" and when I click on it it gives me the date when they have started working on my file .. Which I wasn't aware of So I guess it's a Good sign if they r really working on my file..

And now my status ""(in process)""says that they have started working on my file in May 2012.
Which wasn't like that before 2 weeks..

I was reading other forum which have the time line for Ottawa ppt.. So almost 60% people got their status changed after E-cas is back in service ...
So it could be a mistake or may b they were updating applicants status.. That's y it was down.. Anyways I am very much hopeful that early 2012 cases are close to get their re med..INSHALLAH
