Its a family forum and I really don't want to cuss them out. She was SOOOO rude OMG! Anyways the latest update from me is that my file is in Ottawa. So I asked her why Ottawa? Her response was that since Islamabad has such a high load of work, to distribute the work Ottawa will be processing my file. I THINK I'm a little excited now because CPP-Ottawa's processing time is 12 months but I don't want o get my hopes too high. May Allah's mercy be on all of us.

that's why my wife and I decided we were not going to have any kids in Pakistan. Its not fair on the wife that she has take care of the kid amidst all the taunts and negativity. its hard enough waiting for the process to complete and throwing a kid into that makes it worse.

very true.. but i had child when we use to live in USA..otherwise having kid in pakistan is not good idea

I think what Ottawa will do next is ask proof of maintained contact etc- and once they are satisfied with that they will tell Islamabad to issue the visa. They are reducing Islamabads role- and that cant be a bad thing because we know how ineffecient the locals working in the Canadian embassy are.

Plus now that they've brought in new rules (2 year conditional residence + 5 year bar on sponsoring another spouse) to deal with rogue sponspored spouses they will process the cases faster. This is what I am feeling- I could be wrong.

No that rule is only for people who applied after I think 25/26 of october

My application was filed 31st July 2012.
