They ask for re-med usually within a few months after expiration. If lucky, they also ask for PPR at sametime. At times they take the other route and ask for Re-med with Additional documents.

Yes, very important to send info of child birth. (Due to the fact he/she will be coming along for the ride). Send a email to both CIC/CHC of new addition to the family.

I am july 2012 applicant. I received my AOR on 25th september, and the status shows Decision Made. I do not know if they have recived the medical request for my husband or not. but file has been transfer to ISB. Just want to know how long will it take. My husband 1st medical is expiring on 25th October. :s

Plus I also gave birth to a child on 10th august, do i need to send his info as well?? n how?

it is a yes but I was physically in Pakistan until 30 aug ..
they are askin for the month and year so should I write the year when I landed here which would be 09/ 2005 to present or should I write sept 2012 to present?

I have another stupid question if for example in IMM5540 for question 15 I check marked "NO" ( its asking if I have any children) .. there is another option "YES" and a few lines to explain my answer .. do I have to write N/A under the Yes there?

does ur answer apply to every other question I fill online and mark NO for?

Maybe some one provided you with wrong information. on ur E-CAS did it say 'medical received'. ? Because if it did then i think that means the file did reach islamabad or ottawa. Did it say medical received?

The only reason I found is when I got my MP involved. He told me my file was still in CIC-M

CIC call center agents for past five months just lied to me. They don't care and don't really check.

Ecas did say meds recieved but ecas is bias. (Dont trust that either)

I won't let them get away with this....

This is utter BS, how do they just forget? What did you MP say when the found out the file has been sitting in Mississauga for 7 months? Is there a course of action you can take with your MP’s help? I pray that things get easier for you and for us all.

So i emailed the Ottawa Pilot and they have confirmed that my file is sitting in Ottawa instead of ISB and "the application is in process at this time, no further action is required by me at this time."
This troubles me since I sent an additional proofs of relationship package to Islamabad a few weeks ago...
Any suggestions guys?
Should i send another copy of the additional proofs package to Ottawa as well just in case?

I am literally on the edge right now, i have sent them numerous effing emails, without a single reply from anyone... there is a limit to the BS we should be going through... I can't believe the amount of horse crap we have to go through to get our significant others here legitimately... no wonder f'in people cheat their system, as that gets your file across faster while ppl like us suffer...
