is anyone have any idea that how much time CHC islamabad takes for the next step after sending AOR from islamabad.
plz reply me...
i got AOR from CHC islamabad in June 2012 and submitted few additional documents but they are quiet after this.
any idea how much time they takes?

my friend who received her AOR in Feb 2012 called the cic-m and they informed her that her file is in Ottawa center and it's in process.

i have't emailed or called anyone about my file yet because i think its soon.. my AOR was dated May 2012.
i might try calling them in November

So you are saying that ur file is in Ottawa?

Yes Shah brother, that's what I have been told from the Call Centre Agent. I enquired about my wife file's transfer date and then he gave me this information that my file is moved to Ottawa Pilot Project for further processing. I hope this would be true.

My timeline (wife case)
application filed to CPC missisuaga 21 feb , 2012
my husband received approval letter that he is eligble to sponsor me from CIC missisuga on 28 may , 2012.
the i received "acknowledgement of receipt of application" from CHC islamabad on 24 june, 2012.(they ask to submit supplementary form and some additional proofs, so luckly my husband again visited me so i have more proofs which i send them).
i dont know when they are goin to contact next...my medical is goin to be exppire on 7 dec 2012.
anyone who got AOR from islamabad are u able to chk ur status by application no..i can't chk only by UCl and it shows application received.. and we received ur application for pr on xxxxxxx. and medical results have been received.

Sis in my opinion that's what happened that your husband did not submitted all the required documents when he sent your file to Mississauga. When Mississauga transferred your file to Islamabad so they checked your application if they have all the required documents from you. Your were missing some documents that's how they sent you the letter and asked to submit Supplementary Forms and some additional proof. This is only my opinion but I might be wrong.
These days Islamabad opens your file within 8 months for initial review after your file transfers to Pakistan. I would say you should wait till next year January hopefully they send you Re-Medical Request.

Your were missing some documents that's how they sent you the letter and asked to submit Supplementary Forms and some additional proof. This is only my opinion but I might be wrong.

my husband submitted all the documents even my original education documentsand our original nikkah nama etc. but they written on that letter for new bills and additinal documents, so i submitted on july 3, 2012. luckly my husband visited in the june so we have more pics and new tickets.i wish they contact sooooon.

i have question, when my husband submitted my application he pay $ 1100 fee online.but one mistake happen he paid 75$ for sponsorship application,475 $ principal applicant and by mistaken he paiid 550 $ (for any spouse, of principal applicant , he mark that column ). so total he paid 1100$. BUT the issue is actually we had to pay RPRF which is 490 $ instead of 550$.(IN my application i am the only one no one else ) . so tell me what should i do. are they fix it by themselves because we over paid them or should we pay again RPRF?

Sister, it's really up to you to correct this mistake. If you didn't let them know that moment you realized, I don't know what to tell you. It's common sense.

Sis ask your husband to call CIC Call Centre and let them know that he overpaid his spouse sponsorship fee and hopefully they send him a cheque to your husband.

Only thing I can think of is that, they are holding applications is Ottawa and letting ISB clear the backlog.


Ottawa pilot (if indeed it exist) may cause delay since they would require verification in Pakistan.

Regardless, as long as they do something about spousal delays, its all good.

go here and you can pay it online... once you pay the fees... at the end there will be a reciept, print it and attach it to the application...

below are the categories you pay for given you have no dependents and only a spouse...

Right of Permanent Residence Fee 1 $490.00 $490.00
Total amount for all applications: $1,040.00
