Has any one of you, whose file transferred in early 2012, emailed CHC-Islamabad asking for status on their files? Whats their response?

yes, i did. They told me my file isn't in Islamabad (believe it or not). Another member had a similar issue. (my file was transfered about 4 months ago). Called cic they told me they will contact Islamabad "urgently", recieved no reply from anyone as of yet been 10 days. The other member stated CIC told him his file is in Ottawa processing center?? His file was transfered earlier than mine (maybe around dec 2011)??. So Im very confused..... ???

Does anyone know how long does it take to transfer the file to visa processing office after receiving AOR on average? I received my AOR last week and the status on E-CAS is currently showing "Application received"

The application was submitted on 17th July 2012
The AOR was received on 23rd August 2012.

Don't worry about it, this will appear for the next 6-9months until they touch it. Even my status is the same "app received". I submitted 1 year before you. So... sit back relax enjoy the ride.

There is something real "fishy" going on with Ottawa pilot. There is some truth to it, though it is still a mystery to the general public. They tell you that file is transferred to ISB and ISB tells you otherwise. That leaves me to believe my file is not in CIC or CHC but this Ottawa pilot??.

ya my file is in ottawa too i got my aor on may23 i called cic today ..call centre agent said its in ottawa i asked if it will move to islamabad she said only if they need more information so yeah ottawa pilot project still is a mystery ....

if it means faster processing times..then i am all for it..but it seems like ottawa project has become a dumping ground...everything is sent there...

Did you guys notice. The sponsorship approval times decreased from 86 days to 66 days in a day.

3.b For files with complex admissibility risks, the files will be sent to the visa office for processing. CPP-O will not communicate with the client or the sponsor to avoid confusion for the client.
CPP-O will send a copy of the IAD decision to the relevant visa office for those cases which CPP-O will process to final decision.

Yes, I read about that. It remains a big mystery, it could be reality. Whatever it is, hopefully it decreases the time to recieve your visa....
