CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Tell me about it. I was being very patient in the beginning. But I have still not received any emails or any confirmation of receipt or approval online. I am going to lose my mind. My application was received on March 16, 2012.

CIC website just got updated

91 days
Working on applications received on April 11, 2012

Mine is April 03 but no status online and no email recieved yet. not sure whats that mean.

they will send u a letter and/or email stating ur file has been trafserd....

great to hear that. I called them last night and although CSR (customer svc rep) were close by then, their automated system kept on forwarding my call to an agent. WEIRD :S

I too just wanna know that my file is received before I go back home to Khi later this month. Keep us posted. cheers

Ok i just called CIC although they are open till 4PM but automated system atleast tells that My filed is received on April 04. some kind of relieve atleast

Yea before yesterday it was the same for me, the call would be transfered to an agent with no status. since your applied date is April 17, you might as well wait another week. inshallah by next week you will get the status.

Hummm thats good to hear they will send us a confirmation letter of case receiving, how much time this transfer process may takes normally?

CIC sends a email/letter stating they have "sent" it to CHC. However, CHC doesn't send a email/letter that they "received" it. Basically, CHC doesn't tell you that they have your file. Until 8-9 months down the road when you get a nice email/letter that your file has been opened for queue.

Just want to provide an update:

App received by CPC-M : May 22, 2012
AOR/File# received by email : July 11, 2012

Next step is the actual file transfer to ISB. Hopefully, by the end of this month.

I was reading on another thread opened for May 2012 Family Class applications that CPC is processing May applications backwards. There were users who filed on May 31 and received acknowledgment beginning of July. So early May/mid May, you should be hearing something back soon, Insh'Allah.

Ok finally after many attempts i got in touch with CIC call center agent. she told me that My file is approved and is transferred to "Ottawa pilot project" in Ottawa. I think they are sending many new cases to Ottawa rather then Islamabad. she said that if they feel its needed then they will send it to Islamabad. Hope inshallah step 2 goes smooth.
I still have no status showing on the website and the strange thing is that they did send me an email on July 11 but i havent recieved any email not even in my junk folder though they have my right email address i doublechecked with the agent. wierd eh.

That's nice... so hang on.. they are not transferring files to ISB at all now? dude.. that might just be GOOD news !

as for email address... the initial email only mentions UCI & File# so if you got that from the agent.. i think ur good...

I wonder which applications CIC-Isb is processing nowadays.

Hey shaikh. So your file is in ISB as well ?? Apparently some ppls are going to ottawa. its something new and unheard of.
