ok Thanks to ALLAH almighty..i got a reply just know. Atleast this is a bit of relief that my application is not lost.

The email just gave me a file# and UCI#...and said my application was received on June 25, 2012.

However this is not an approval letter...do you guys know...how long after receiving such email i should expect an approval letter from Mississauga?

I like to know from babbi and rkkhan were there file went to ottawa or islamabad ?

their files went directly to islamabad ... they received sponsorship letter from mississauga and so called AOR or documents request from CHC-isl u can read their earlier posts

Please add me in the list too.... i am from Pakistan. My hubby sent the application to CPC Mississauga. The details are as under:
Application sent:14th of Aug 2012,
Application received: 15th, Aug, 2012
Medical done: 28th July, 2012 (sent to New Dehli)
received confirmation email by CPC Mississauga on Sep 20, 2012 (that mentioned UCI and Application Number)

well what dose this confirmation email depicts? The email states that "CIC will contact you as soon as your application is reviewed. We trust that this information concerning your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class is helpful"..... can you plz guide me? which CIC gonna contact me/my husband? CIC Missisauga or CIC Islamabad Pakistan?

plus, i am also wondering about the tracking method.... when i used the UCI to track my case, it dun shows the status of my sponsorship application, rather it show the citizenship completion report of my husband...... em confused ???

we have same timeline i applied my wife case august 10 recived letter 20 sep sponsor approval and file send to ISB.

Your sponsor will recived another email in next week for sponsorship approval and file transfer to ISB .wait till next week it will appear on ECAS .
