And yup to all ur questions... congrats on ur file being in process... u r first one we know of that went to ottawa and file is being worked on...

i heard ottawa replies to everyone in 10 business days, did u email them??? i am not show if its in process or not because online status is application received and i have no idea how ottawa is processing files, may be they will later transfer it it isb and isb will take more time

i emailed them and its been about 7 business days no reply, i have called and got a clueless agent after a millionth try, and the rest is pretty much up in the air... i am trying to change my mindset to just relaxing and assuming that it will take about 14-16 months atleast, so till then i dont wana overstress, and i think all of us here are overstressing overselves, coz i am seeing folks still in stage 1 and more worried about ottawa... its a beast we have created from our assumptions/observations, and no one knows whats really going on out there (minus 1 person who got a reply from ottawa and was told their file is in process)...

i am visiting my wife soon anyways, so it will help get me around for a bit, and hopefully by then things will be a bit more clear...

now that i think of it. my application package was most probally the worst organized package ever lol.
we almost completed our application in 2 weeks. and i filled all the forms by myself .. haha

lolz, they must have thought you were Allah Ditta, hehe, coz obv they werent telling about ur file, if u were to go for gcms notes right now, ur file is prob not even touched yet... these agents are clue less monkeys raking in nice $$$ from gov...

n3z------------------------------------January 2012 Got a letter from embassy on July 11, 2012 to submit Additional Proof, Re-Police Certificates, had sent them email asking about getting Saudi police certificate....received email again from embassy on September 3, 2012 stating "we haven't got any document" except Supplementary info form.... Send them documents again on September 18, 2012.... So far silence again.

PPR hmm Inshalah u will get visa soon its good to hear that ISB is not that long ride infect most of ppl of 2012 are in Ottawa and every one is saying ISB will b a long ride and its not good for me bcoz i received letter from ISB in sept. u got ur PPR 3 months after u got letter from ISB so i can hope in Dec 2012 i will receive PPR inshalah...
Any wayz we all are in same boat no metter its OTT or ISB BEST OF LUCK FOR EVERY ONE...

well i know someone who had his case transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa in April 2012 and that case finally got approved last week. So it looks like Buffalo backlog is being cleared- and soon it will be the Islamabads applicants turn, Let hope.
