O yes. By the way, the fee for visitor visa has gone up from $75.00 to $100.00. Things ain't getting cheaper around here....

This is where they are making money.

Actually they decide TRV in two months and keep making money.

Here they have Canadians Staff (Officers) to make decisions and actually to make money.

But in case of sponsorship applications they do not have any Canadian staff to make decisions.............how much stupid they make us.

CHC-Islamabad is big pain and insult for Canadian citizen who are originally Pakistanis.

PPR: depending upon your luck (their lucky draw) from 6 weeks to n months.

Heightest value for n so far is 9.5 8) and still no news . (Sorry If I am bit true it is reality.)

and whts the most shocking thing is there are 2 ppl here who got passport request one in nov and other in january yet they havent received their passports uptill now !

I just wanna know are they tired from their work ! or they need some more vacations to start from fresh again n send us some good news !!!

AOA Everyone!
Hope you are doing well. I was reading the replies of a few members regarding New Delhi VO Processing time and CHC-ISBD processing time and thought to share an update with you guys.
Last week a neighbour of mine went to Canada through spouse case. His wife is Canadian citizen and they got married in May,2012 and his wife went to Canada (Toronto) right after a couple of months after their wedding and sponsored him. Allah blessed him a baby girl as well. I don't know which visa office processed his application as he never shared his process with me because its in their blood to keep the things hidden from their neighbours.
Mine is the family case and we are sponsored by my mother living in Canada. Some member on this forum told me that we are sponsored under the "Family Reunification Program" which is quite faster as compare to simple spouse visa process. CHC Isbd started processing our applications in April, 2012 and I don't know how much fast they still need to move as its been 22 months now and I'm waiting for the PPR even after depositing the processing fee as well. They returned our originals as well.
My mother is severely ill and I'm praying for the quick issuance of my visa so that I'd be able to join her and take care of her.
I pray that may everyone get their PPR soon and also request everyone over here to please pray for my PPR and my mother's health as well.

You can get an english version of the Nikah Nama from your concerned union council office. You just have to show them the original one. And no need to attach anything as this one will be issued by NADRA and this marriage certificate is equivalent to the original nikah nama.
