CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

My wife never received the acknowledgment letter, I'm not sure how important it is to receive that letter. OttPilot has been explained in detail in recent previous posts on this thread....

My contact number has been changed;I want to inform CIC but the problem is where I have to send the request to CHC-I or CPP-O???

My wife called to call center and the agent told that my file has been transfered to CHC-Islamabad.But most of file who applied in May,2012 has been transfered to CPP-O.Should I believe on it or email to CPP-O to reconfirm the exact location???

You can email both parties. (No harm in it).

Yes, you can email CPP-O to ask if your file is there. (Agent don't always know the reality, they have limited knowledge).

Asalam o alikum, I am new to this forum but have been following the posts for quite some time, I am from Lahore and my wife has applied for my PR from Quebec since Nov 2011 but online status still displays “Application received”. Can anyone help me in telling the exact processing time these days and approximately by what time I should receive any kind of response? My medical and Police certificate was submitted with the application in Nov 2011. Thanks & JazakAllah

You have a very similar timeline as my wife. When I check the online status of her case I get the exact same info as you. Based on most of the cases I've been following on this forum, 14-16 months seems to be the average waiting time. Good Luck, inshallah you will be processed soon!

I was told by the call center agent that this is the info I should be relying on (I don't think he was confident in his answer).... with that said your right about being suspicious about the timeline since Islamabad's cases have been added to the mix.

I did apply for my wife on aug 10th get UCI AND FILE no on sep 15 with acknowledgment that they have recived my file hope you will get by next week

I submitted by husband's case to CPC-Missausaga on July 20th, 2012, but I havent received my letter yet that approves me as a sponsor. But others who have applied in August 2012 have already received their letter! Does this mean there's something wrong because why would CPC-Missausaga give preference to the later ones first?
