To all members who got their visas but haven't heard any thing about their original documents/university certificates etc.. Please email Ottawa and let them know they will mail every thing to you .. Preferably at Canada"s address.. Today I got all our documents back so now I guess I am completely done with CIC..
The rest best of luck to every one .. INSHALLAH soon you'll be out of this..

why give the cic the opportunity to cause you more problems? i would suggest to future applicants- do your nikkah were male and females are present...

CIC know our culture very well, and CIC also know that doing nikkah in masjid is very common in pakistan now days so it wont be issue, and CIC also know that in pakistan mostly masjid's dont have female area so only males would be there so its fine

How & where u paid in Pakistan or in Canada ?

No re-med or any communication since my file transfer to Islamabad, April 2012. I have not order any notes cuz my lawyer discourage to do it...I am not sure if I can do it myself

NO. THEY DIDNT SEND THE NIKAH NAMA, BIRTH CRET, EDUCATIONAL TRANSCRIPTS OR ANYTHING ELSE. JUST ORIGINAL NADRA FRC AND ANOTHER ORIGINAL SUPPORTING DOC.
I AM CONFUSED ON THAT WHY THEY SENT SOME ORIGINALS AND NOT ALL.

In my case they send all. Even my husband's application for citizenship is in process they send his original documents as well

Landing fee is included in the 1000$ that u pay in the begining of application process if ur wife paid the fee then u dont need to worry

What does it indicate? If birth cert and school cert are returned?

This means that they have kept the copies and transferred the digitally copied images to their internal storage where from the CHC ISBD can review them in case they need them.
