Thanx for your detailed reply. The new system is good if it reduces the processing time. I have a question, in my sponsorship approval email they said that my file has been transfered to visa office abroad and they gave the islamabad high commission adress for further processing. Does that mean that my file is actualy in islamabad or actually its in ottawa and they dont tell that in approval email?

That's the same message that I got in the email I received last year, I'm assuming it means that our files are in Islamabad

Also I haven't heard of files being sent to Ottawa as well to be processed until I came on this forum. Maybe it's a new thing?

Application Filed: April 2012
Sponsorship Approval: July 2012
File Transferred to Ottawa: July 2012
Re-Med Request Received: Nov 2012
Paspport Request: July 2, 2012
Visa Received: July 25, 2012

salaam bro mine is the same thing bro I called cic too they saied UR FILE is transfered to islamabd so lets keep finger cross and pray in this holy Mont some ppl say it 'll takes another yr to hear from islamabd and some say it 'll take months to hear so let see bro u can sed UR documents if u want bro

Shena, as I know I send additional documents to Ottawa, i.e, phone call logs, Skype and SMS chat, email, money order receipts, greeting cards, gift receipts, letter envelope, pictures, tickets, boarding passes and what ever you think that can convince them.
