CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

They are all over the place. Two of my friends who applied for their wives in Sep 2011 got VISA stamped in Feb.

good god this process is long.... anyone know where they are in procesing the cases... last i heard they were around july 2012...

one of my friends from 2010 cases got visa for his wife in end of march...

i have a feeling that corruption is rife in the chc-isl... some cases get pushed nd cleared in such dodgy times that its not even funny...

i m sure ppl have connections and $$$ is an influencing matter...

Does it have any impact (processing time) on your application if you sponsor as a citizen or on PR status?

Insha'Allah soon, mine has been showing "Decision Made" since July 2012. There is no specific timeline that CHC is following, my MP told me to get worried 26 months after the file transfer which in my case would be Sept 2014. I'm optistimistic that we all should get our files completed within 18 months of file transfer. All we can do is pray in the meantime.
