Thanks a lot..

Ohhh man, I am dead.. see I have lived in Canada at so many places/address... I don't even remember now..

but again I am confused with the word(Since)/sentance " Since the time your sponsorship application was submitted", doesn't it mean addresses of any travelling after the submission of the application?

Residency Questionnaire

Question # 13

Please give the names of the countries where your sponsor has resided, your sponsor's complete address(es), and telephone number(s) in these countries, as well as period of residence at each address Since the time your sponsorship application was submitted

what should be the answer? does it means all the addresses even before the submission of file? any idea?

It means they're asking for sponsor's addresses AFTER application was filed.(date of application)
They're checking the sponsor to see if they were residing in Canada. Best to send proof such as tax filing docs, paystubs, etc if you have.
Did the sponsor move a lot (changed addresses a lot) for any reasons?

If I were you, I'd also order GCMS notes to find out why they're asking this. No need to be alarmed, but just be proactive.

I do not know why some members cannot follow or read what Immigration sends them its there. There is a saying ( You cannot see the forest for the trees.)

Thanks a lot..

see I have to apply for sponsorship application for my wife.. There is a new form not numbered as IMM.... but its a form called RESIDENCY QUESTIONNAIRE by Canadian High Commission Islamabad, Pakistan. Part 3: Country Specific Instructions.

Question # 13) Please give the name of countries where your sponsor has resided, your sponsor's complete address(es), and telephone number(s) in these countries, as well as period of residence at each address since the time your sponsorship application was submitted.

See they have underlined the sentence since the time your application was submitted. I am living with my wife in Pakistan, I am a citizen of Canada, I had to live with my family, as I can't leave them alone, there is no place I can leave them in Pakistan. Now the question remains, we haven't filled the application yet(inshAllah soon), again I am living with my family, so I believe there is no address I can provide them.. again the word Since (since the time your sponsorship application) can not apply to the sponsor, because we haven't applied the application for sponsorship, and how come they ask such question in advance? I can understand once we have applied, after submission of application, they can ask such question.. but how come in advance? that's the worry I was asking to forum.. if anyone could have come up with such question, and can answer my worries..

@ micmac101

its not there... that's why I was asking.. you just can't say its a Jungle, right-away once you see a few trees in front of you.

One have to answer the questions what they ask, but how come one give the answer which has to take place in future? do I have to give them addresses/phone numbers in advance? where I be living and blah blah..

Assalam o Alaikum,
Did anyone get Passport back after submitting to VAC? I submitted on 20 march.

Thanks.

Salam, if they asked since you filed for sponsorship then supply them with this. I think you must have told them that you are living in Pakistan with your wife so in that case they really want to know if you have a residence in Canada to come back to. Supply them with an address where you live in Canada along with phone number. Then explain that you are in Pakistan visiting your wife. If you are Canadian Citizen the length of stay is as long as you want but you must have a Canadian Residence in Canada. If your a Permanent Resident of Canada then you can only stay a certain length of time or you will loose your case. I hope that all goes well for you In Sha Allah............

You do know that you can track all that through your social insurance number. They have all the info there. So call Canada Revenue Agency and ask them for a list of addresses for you that they have on file . If you did change them every time you moved, they should have them.

Its best to put all of the addresses on there. They ask you for a time. "Date to Date" if there is a gap between the dates, it may cause a problem for you.

If you were living with parents or siblings ask them, they might remember.

Thanks a lot both of you..

I am planning to submit our file in the 1st week of May 2015. Still its not cleared.. but anyways I will provide them whatever address I have. Not all address you can find in Revenue Canada. I believe I will have to dig out my files and provide them as many addresses as possible. I am not sure of phone numbers..

anyways thanks again for your time..
