Hi Everyone,

I am going to sponsor my wife in start of April.
Can you guys tell me if me or my wife needs to show any money in the bank?
My income was over $25,000 for last year. Is it enough or has to be more?
Do I need any job when I apply?
Does it need to be in any specific NOC Code or just any kind of entry level job?

QUESTION PLEASE

on my interview letter it gives me a list of stuff to bring.

now first it says evidence of all communication of PA and spouse since october 2013, which we got

and then at the end it says, proof and evidence of ongoing relationship with spouse. is that since the beginning??? i already sent soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much proof to them with my application since 2008. are they asking for this stuff again?? so frustrating. i had to pay $200 for extra phone bills last time. i better not have to pay again or i will be a very angry person! what do they mean by ongoing communication? They didnt give me a timeline.

Give them what they want and a bit more LOL. If you have spoken on SKYPE or any CHAT place photo copy it. Phone bills are good any screen shots taken, or trips. The thing is they want PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP so give them what they want. They are companionate people and your interview will go easy I'm sure of this. My husband had 3 interviews and he is now in Canada. Please pray he gets a job soon as he has been in Canada 4 months today and nothing. Please... I pray your interview goes well and you get your Visa In Sha Allah...............

Guys i have a question. My wife did her remed in july 2014 but they put the expiry date to december 2015. I have two options. 1: let it be and dont do anything but wait. Or 2: ask my mp to let ndvo know and fix the expiry date to july 2015. If i do this will ndvo use this as an excuse to delay my applic process? At the same time if i let it be they might delay my ppr sayong that they have enough time to send my ppr and take their time?

Order your GSMS NOTES. And also call MP all this is allowed and will not delay your process

All Polio Vaccines are necessary in order to come to Canada as a tourist or Landed Immigrant if you do not have it you will not be able to Enter Canada. It cost a few Rupees and the benefits are well worth the effort as you do not want this crippling disease In Sha Allah........

Please be advised that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks, unfortunately we are unable to provide you with an update at this time. However as soon as these checks have been completed we will be in contact with you with an update.

kindly share your views about the routine bg checks and how long does it take to complete it? What's the next step ?

Back ground checks can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months... These are done by SCIS from Canada and Pakistan and they do not leave any rock unturned.. I pray this goes fast and when did it say it was started? May Allah help you out of this mess In Sha Allah..

I just got this email today. I dunno when it actually started, but I'm praying it completes soon. I have no travel history abroad, will it make it any quicker?

Your most welcome but don't thank me Thank Allah

It can take little time and then it can take up to 2 months but after this you will fly through it easily
In Sha Allah. This is the hardest part the waiting but after the back ground check everything goes faster. This means your case is at the finish line. If your meds are up to date and not expiring for a while this will go much faster In Sha Allah. May Allah help you to be patient through this and please pray for us In Sha Allah.........

y u writing abt the people who didnt attend this or y u writing abt the people who are not present in the photos

just write how many people attended from both sides
and attach photos with labels and make it simple

I Totally agree with Marchlove , as you dont have to mention anyone who was not present
If any of your or your spouse's parents didn't attend, then you only need to explain why they didn't otherwise you shouldn't mention anyone who didnt come.

Alhamdullilah, wife got her passport back visa stamped.

Can someone please advise the procedure at immigration?
Does she fill out the immigration form that they give out in the flight?
What is the procedure...questions etc that they might ask?

If there is a separate forum for this kinda discussions then let me know.

what will happen when status change to "in process" and what they are doing and how long to change to dession made. I done my upfron medical in Feb 2014 before submision of my application and my application was filed on 13 may and first approved on 31 july.

I know there are some members who have really good info and their advice really works for me. Specially Leon and PMM.
but I ask question here to everybody so I know individual opinion and their experience.
But seems like people here are more conscious and busy about what they get in their plane and their travel experience.
Even there are more productive info which needs to share not if turkish airline or emirates is better than others.
