is it allowed to apply in two different type of immigration at the same time

I m not sure is it good to go for two immigration programs simultaneously. i had applied for quebec immigration before marrying my canadian citizen wife. i had no option except to go for spouse immigration after marriage since one cant rely solely on quebec skilled worker immigration, its highly un predictable. i may withdraw my application for quebec in near future. i think it can create problems for my spouse visa

I don't thing it will directly affect your spousal visa. However, if you land in Canada before acceptance of spousal visa that would change the whole outlook. Now your an Inland applicant. Obviously, your acceptance of Canadian visa with spousal application is better. If you applied for skilled worker for Quebec, there are different requirements and standards. I don't think it will slow down your case. Its tricky.

i think it very difficult to get an accurate figure. there are more than 300,000 pakistanis living in canada. my rough guess is its more than 500 applications and less than 2000 applications per year.

take some professional advice it might dely ur spouse case as well.. did u mention in ur spouse application that u already applied for quebic immigration

My Wife had her medical done in February 2011 and doctor said she will send the medical result to CHC Islamabad. Now in December 2012 CHC Islamabad start processing her application.

As medical gets expire after one year, should my wife do the medical again in January 2013 before CHC Islamabad ask for it to save sometime?

its better to wait for remdeical letter from CIC.. because now only IMO is doing medical and they will ask for letter

i think 500 application easily solve in a year.So y time duration is 26 months its terriable :'(

I don't know if there is a figure to how much. However, looking at the delays probably alot.
