Over six months?. Hopefully, in your case they ask for your remed and ppr at same time InshAllah.

My med already expired in august 3rd no re med yet Allah knows better...

Many friends of mine where 2011 applicants. I personally know a few who got their whole process approved in 13 months to 14 months (whole wedding, wife). I few where approved around 17 months (nikkah case, wife).

Aoa.....yaar how do u knw its da july applicants rcvng ppr....i had already done my re-medical in oct.....whenz me gona get ppr then?

I doubt they would bring down times for ISB. ( I wish they do). Though i see they slowly have increased the times for India and Sri lanka. (Though there is still a major difference in time between them and ISB)

they are wrapping up 2010 cases, 2011 cases are getting PPRs ..hopefully very soon it will be 2012's turn!
I wish next time they update our processing time, it goes down to 6-8 months man!

They ll update times in the end of jan 2013 as they do every 3 months and last update was on end of october and I think I ll be 16 months or more

Please can anyone tell me whats the procedure of changing mailing address of applicant if by mistake the same mailing address of both sponsor and applicant have been forwarded in application? ECas is showing the same address which is wrong. We want to update. Please reply if anyone knows. JazakAllah khairan!

So it gives us hope. We definitely are at their mercy and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it except for praying. inshaAllah 2013 will bring good news for all of us stay optimistic and don't let this sponsorship business mess with your head.

for me 14 th month completed on 11th of dis month...i had done my remedical at the end of oct....inshallah will get ppr sooooooooooon....

so true- but our compatriots do engage in marraige fraud and feel no shame saying they just want a "Canadian" passport. Minister Kenney isn't too pleased when he hears this and then we all suffer.

I beg to differ a little here, I know so many friends who know people who got cheated by this marriage of convenience and guess what almost all of them are Sikh Punjabis. Shouldn't that mean that India's processing time should be way higher than ours ? It isn't, because of politics. Canadian government's ties aren't strong with the Pakistani government.. So it all comes down to the bond of the government. Also I'm not in anyway saying that Pakistanis don't commit fraud.

I agree with you. I know a sikh guy who got duped not too long ago. So what must we do to improve this bond? Should we bring Musharraf back because in 2004 the processing time was a mere 4-6 months!
