For islamabad registered marriages, you get marriage certificate from arbituary council which is the salsi council. I got it from there twice.

They will ask for it eventually because it consists of a seal with which your marriage is registered in Nadra and this actually is a solid proof of a marriage. Now a days only nikah nama does not work wether its urdu or english. The best idea is to fill out both english and urdu nikah nama and signed at the time of wedding. This will reduce the hastle of translation and attestation bla bla

Its better for you to prepare it right now because they take a full working week if its not urgent.

seriously this is very bullshit situation.
when my son was borned last year, my wife got the birth forms to fill and those people asked her not to mention my name as im not present there (the father) now london has asked for the form which has my name mentioned, now my wife called those A-holes and now they are saying she will have to fill a new form and get my signatures ( im in LAhore) and then submit it and this whole fcking thing will take 6-8 weeks..and london gave me 30 days to send the documents.
now what the hell to do?

Why dont you do this, your wife fill out forms, sign, scan and send it out to you. You take print out and sign and mail that via dhl. I think this will take not more than a week.. Isnt it?

Honestly they always give lame excuses no matter what. You need to put pressure otherwise they will linger on as much as they can. They have piles of work on the desk, people in qeues but they will come an hour or more late and enjoy sipping coffee before they would start their work.
The lower staff if doesnt cooperate, please dont hesitate to go to the highest official present there. Otherwise you will have to wait for weeks :S

Why don't you email them? and ask the same question to LVO.

I already email them on 20th September and they reply me on 22nd September 2014 they said
Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time.

Hello guys

I applied in March 2013 and file transferred to LVO on June 19th 2014. The status of application is Decesion made. Bt the status was same before the file transferred to LVO. Now 3 months passed and there is no communication from LVO. Till now I did not RCv remedical request. What u people think?
