I sent my passport to islamabad on July 3rd after the ppr2 request from london on July 2nd and I am still waiting for my passport. I've seen cases on this forum where people hv gotten their passports back in a week's time, so i am kind of worried now. Also, my e-cas still says in process. I've also sent my old passport (the expired one) with the current passport. since they were stapled together, so it didnt really occur to me that I was sending both of them. The expired one has written Cancelled on it - on the bio-data page. Do you guys think that this could be a reason for the holdup? Please reply if any of you has any idea about this. I am getting really anxious. Is there anybody else on this forum who's been waiting for passport for more than 2 weeks now?

In my gcms note In colum of paper file it says

Office PA Put Away what does this mean Put away in gcms notes?


Also in gcms notes my due date is 16-06-2014

Due date is one year from the date of submission. Mine is 16th july for eligibility assessment. Put away could be that they have placed ur paper file in isb storage. Also you dont have to worry about paper file as they no longer work on paper file. Its the e-file they work on.

Yep, if you have receipts of the jewelry, then you don't need to do an evaluation.

Basically, you take all your jewelry to a jeweler. He will then make a detailed photocopy of all your jewelry and sign it as proof that it really does belong to you along with a estimated price per set. In the end he will calculate all jewels and write down the net worth of all your jewels. This is prove to CBSA at the airport, that it is your jewelry and what is the estimated price. (Depending on CBSA officer sometimes they don't ask but if they do you should have this proof).

Hi Aoa Well this is not PPR 1 its ur remedical alongwith PPC , Background Security Check you will receive another email in which you will get your PPR 1.But good things will happen soon for you
