I think u must not quit or change ur job until u got an approval once u r approved by canada snd ur file tramsfer to isb then u can do. Job change or quit
after the file transfer they dnt inquire the sponsr then they inquire only the person being sponsored

Agreed 100% u have to wait for approval letter and after file transferred to Islamabad they will not inquire about u they they will only concern with Applicant.

I got a question! see currently I work part time at a store. next semester is about 5 courses for me and im thinkin to quit work .. is it going to negatively impact my file as I already told them I work part time. Will I have to send in new forms or what?

After approval letter they will only concern with Applicant not Sponsor so do what u want to do.

I want to ask if my husband has switched his job after filing my application then does he need to inform CHC Isl? If not, will it impact our processing?

Congrats to those that got TRV.

Just an FYI, the last time I visited an immigration lawyer, he strongly suggested against applying for TRV and just waiting for PPR. I don't how credible he was, but he said from his experience, TRVs usually delay the actual spousal visa. Again, I don't know this personally, but just mentioning it as an FYI.

In my opinion, if possible, just have patience and wait out the time period. No idea how CIC works and the last thing you would want to do is complicate the case and delay the actual residential visa.

i sent them two months back and never heard from them.. wondering if i have to write to them again..

U should wait for one more month & i am 100% sure next month in december you will heard something from Islamabad. so plan for US after December month.ok

I dont think it will be effect on application process. Bcos my husband sponsor me after four years of marriage. And the reason was that he already submitted his parents sponsorship file and his lawyer advised him that firstly we should wait to clear parents file if he sponsor me during that period then may be cic will clear wife sponsor but they may be delay parents file. So after four years of our marriage they got visas. And during this time I have my 2 years old daughter. My husband apply for her citizenship card after her birth which she got in 11 months. And he submitted my file on 22 march. Now after 4 months of file transfer I got the request for permanent resedence fee and marriage certificate. It shows atleast now my file is opened. And may be next I got second medical request or ppr.
So in my opinion it will not effect on ur file.
