I think Omni is right, I can tell you are mad at CIC everyone is, but nothing we can do. They have made rules which we have to follow. If you don't agree with cic write a letter to them to express your feelings with your uci number and passport copy , expressing your point of view on this forum will not help. now you know what to do. :-*

I'd like to ask a question, my re-medical validity is going to expire in September 2014 and I am still waiting for PPR 1. Mine is full rukhsati but no valima as we planned it in Canada (explained it in add documents request), is it the reason they are delaying the PPR and what do you suggest.

Wsalam.

They rarely ask for a third medical. That being said, sept 2014 is your deadline to travel out of Pakistan.

If they had an issue with the "no valima" part, they would have brought it up with your remed request.

You have approx 2 months. They know that. Once you receive PPR-1 most cases are approved in 30 to 45 days with visa stamped. (90% of the time)

Yes you can apply from anywhere in the world. As long as you have internet and the appropriate payment method (Canadian credit card)

I sponsored my wife from Pakistan in January 2012.


I received an email that her visa was ready and to sent the passport approximately 32 days ago.


I have still heard no response. I had even emailed them over a month ago and never received a response either..


If anyone could guide me to the next step to speed up the process. She has missed my graduation, and so much more. It's very unfair how they completely keeping us in the dark.


They have her passport for a month now (it was sent to Islamabad). I am reading about people here who sent their passports after us and have received it already.. If anyone can guide me to the next step that would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Do remember its 55 working days. (Not including weekends or holidays).
