I had a relative who had nikkah done in December 2011 and London Visa Office approved his application ... he's getting is ruksati done now but has the visa.

Nevertheless, I was nikkah only case as well but didn't take the chance so I did ruksati and sent them the pics with other proof.

Like visit visa its a hit or a miss but recommend folks play safe and conduct the whole shadi if they are able to.

How long did your relatives case take? If u dont mind me asking?

Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah my husband got approved for Immigration they took his Pass Port sent paper for new medical and we will be returning to Canada in 2 weeks to 2 months. How long did your relatives case take? If u dont mind me asking?

Well, they applied in November or December of 2011 and got the visa within the last 3 months ... approx. 2.5 years for the whole process ... nikkah only

I sent them other documents including my address change and job change, they only notified me with the address change: however, I sent all the documents in one email with 2 PDF files.
