CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

I am july 2012 applicant. received my Aor letter 25th sep. file fwd to islamabad. now how long will it takes from there??

So I heard back from CIC-O and this is their response;

"Dear Mr. Handsome,

Yes, the Islamabad Visa Office (CIC-I) is the correct office and the Islamabad office has indicated that they have received your supporting document on May 25, 2012.
For all further actions or developments, the Islamabad CIC office will inform you.

I am so glad to have heard from them; this has given me confidence that my supporting docs aren’t MIA… Alhamdulillah

Dear Senior Members,


We have applied for Canadian visa under spouse visa category. We married in June, 2011 and God has blessed us with a baby boy in May, 2012. I did tried to apply for visit visa to be there with my wife at the time of delivery, but unfortunately my application was refused. So my wife visited Pakistan in June, 2012. We had a very good time here and now it is becoming more and more difficult to stay away from my wife and Son.

So now i am thinking to send supporting documents to CHC-I like pictures of my wife and my son during their visit of Pakistan and Air ticket details as a proof of visit. We had a very lovely time together but my wife is also studying and she has to complete her studies there as well, so she left in august.

guys let me know its important to send them or wait for the additional documents request

That is odd, Ottawa usually replies within 7 days. However, CHC replies from 30 to 60 (If they want too).

I have not received the letter yet!!!
My questions are : 1) how can i tell whether my application has been approved or not because it doesnt say that my file has been transferred to Islamabad????

2) when the file gets approved is dat how the online status looks like or mine is different??

no worries you are approved as sponsor now they have sent you file to ISB my status is same like yours but i recived an email that i am approved as sponsor and my file is transfer to islamabad now just wait ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hello everyone i emailed ottawa last week i just sent email asking processing time this is what they replied i think someone else received exact same reply too.

Typical generic answer. If you ask them this question, they will state exact samething.
