So got an updated from MP that background checks are not finished yet last week our ecas changed to in process and said we started processing ur file 14 march,2014 and i think they updated status because same day MP got reply from them so when they were replying to MP they updated ecas. its husband case feb 2012, add forms+remedical+pacc req in aug 2013 since then we are waiting for PPR. In forums i saw 3 or 4 ppl whose ecas changed to in process same day as mine, did u guys get smthn?

My husband finally got here on a TRV BUT now, after calling CIC, we found out that his PR sponsorship file has now been transferred to London office on our 28th MONTH of processing!! WHY?!??!
Still no remed or repcc request...anyone from 2011 have their file transferred to London? Our transfer happened at the end of February 2014.

How did your husband's TRV get approved and how long did it take? What reason did you give them?

Salam Dear all Pending Cases Individuals in Islamabad.
Well dears for sometime i got silent reader as i seen that there haven't been any big changes for to 70% of members inside this forum.
But March Month also Marshes now so we are prepared to enter April Month.
I hope in this April month at least 30% of members could get what they want like ( Interview Request , Medical Request , Re Medical Request , Passport Request or Finally Receive their passport with Canada visa )

Can you plz tell me how u know that ur file is transfer to london.... I mean did u get any mail or anything else .. to inform u that ur file is in london????? Coz I didnt think so our files are in london well we r 2011 applicants n I heard 2012 applicants get ppr n visa more quickly than 2011 applicants coz from 2012 applicants file transferred to london... n our 2011 files are still in islamabad don't know what the hell r they doing

Hi MSAM,

I read on forum files have been transferred to London.
But I did not contact London however I sent one email to know status of my file to Islamabad in the first week of febuarary.

I have not received any update this shows they are total insane people.
They know how to hold cases since no one can ask reason unless 32 months.

I would say all is happening due ti immigration Canada and Conservative government is revisiting immigration
system and cutting budgets for different visa office and closing some offices to save money..........BS people .

Khawaja786, i'm 2011 nov. applicant and my remedi done on 11th July 2013 n my 32 months will over on this july 2014. N my re medical expiry is also on the month of july. . . N this 28th month of March is now end . . . I don't understand whats going on. . I'm waiting for my ppr. . . What r they'll do with my case any ideas. . . What about my 32nd month plus 2ndmedical expiry r same month of july 2014. . . . Oh Allaah help help help :'(

THIRD REMEDICAL : (i read this comments on the forum so sharing)

I have heard of people doing a third medical exam, but it might not be necessary. Officers now have the ability to extend the deadline for exams done within 15 months.
