You need to stop waiting for the passport to get made and try to get the police certificate anyway. It's almost been a month and you really should have tried to reply to the re-pcc request within a week or so. CHC delays cases enough on their own, so don't give them any breaks from your side.

The reason I say don't wait for the passport, is cuz my sister's passport had gone for renewal 3 months ago, and the last time we went there they said it would take atleast another month (which is the nice way of saying atleast 2 - 3 more months). Even those who applied for urgent passports can be made to wait 2 months. Try to talk to the police authorities and see if they will make the certificate based on copies of the previous passport and any alternative documents. These people are 'creative' (ahem) when they need to be.

Yahh but they need passport number for police certificate my hubby went an they said they cudnt do it becuz the passport number is on the police certificate form

i am happy for u ,but has chc stopped working on nov n dec 2011 cases? or they have missed sumthing, god forbid . c
this is really annoying 4 meeeeeeeeeeeee. i ave a straight and genuine case, i beleive, and i am so stressed out.
u plz dont take it personally....... may uhavea happy llife ahead. but as i said i am stressed out

if they didnt ask for flight details n jus for ppr it will take time.
Cuz ma husband send ppr a month ago n we r still waitin. Jus pray and in sha allah wen the time is right Allah swt will have ur hubbys visa send to him.

did anyone recently travel from PIA to Karachi??? if yes how was the experience and how much was the ticket. I jst called PIA and they told me the fare is $2200.00 which I think not correct its usually $1300 or $1400.

I will appreciate if anyone can share any info.

Congrats on the PPR. The very rough trend for people that CHC likes a little bit, is getting the passport back in from 2 weeks to 2 months.

Others who they like A LOT get it back by 4 months.

Me, they absolutely love, so have decided to keep my passport with them forever.

Seriously though, it really varies for each case, there does not seem to be any logic.
