Got Citizenship Alhamdulillah

whole process took 21 months!

Hey guys 2nd time (TRV) visa got refused again ... I filed through lawyer the 2nd time, had all papers done properly but still they refused with 3 stupid reasons and return all papers in 22 days.. So my Question is, is it worth to try again?? or just wait for PR. Applying 3rd time would put my sponsorship at risk?
btw it's a wife case and file transfer to Islamabad was on Sep 27 2012.

U need to show tht ur wife will return to Pakistan as in show her school docs tht she has admission n all or job related docs.

Also bank statement should ve more than 9000 in savings.

Now its 4 months n i ask my mp to send an email since my husband changed address
She told me that its in officers hands for review, there might be problem that they want to solve before sendin ppr. And ahe told me to wait till end of may to send another email.?
Why is it that everyones life is goin smooth while i am being punished for i have no f*ckin idea.

I hope she is makin a mistake. Anyone kno or has gone through this?

i am planing to go by the end of April, will celebrate my bday there with wife...

guys can you tel me any economical flights to canada..

i wish k jin jin bhai n bheno say sabii ki n meri baat hue ho hum kabi milain and kuch time pent karain.. just to share the waitin gperiod and future association.

Would you mind telling me how did they waive your husband's interview. From what they have told me my husband's file is in the queue to be scheduled for an interview. We have provided them additional documents but havn't heard anything back yet. Please share... thanks

I know some one who's case has been in precess for over 30 months but I consider his probably one of the worse examples... this guy was here on business visa, over stayed, applied for refugee and eventually was deported. came back on business visa and got married to this girl... girl sponsored him and he is been waiting since then... every time they say senior officers are reviewing his case. Girl got pregnant twice and he also had to provide DNA test.... so may be urs isn't too bad...

From your case I would like to know how did you guys manage them to waive the interview? what did you have to provide them? would really appreciate your response. thanks

Insha Allah Allah will help you man. My life isn't going smooth either bro. I have had so many fights with my wife, we're holding on by a thread. We haven't talked in days :/ after all the verbal garbage we exchanged.

sometimes Allah punishes us so he can wipe our sins away so that we don't have to pay for them in Hell. Sometimes Allah tests us so that he may raise our status if we pass the test.

I know patience is hard, but it's all we can do.

Have you tried ordering GCMS notes? maybe they can give you some hint as to where your application stands.

not sure which IOM office you're looking for buth that link will show you all IOM offices in Pakistan. And yes I am sure you have to print and fill out that form and present it to medical office

Wow so good to see so many people getting PPRs and Visas! Congrats to you all inshAllah soon you'll all be together with the loved ones...and may Allah make it easy for the rest of us! Keep us poor souls in your duas

MashaAllah by the grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) my husband received his passport back along with the rest of the documents.

Here is the complete timeline:
Application filed Mississauga: July 2011
Application received CHC Islamabad: September 2011
AOR received along with request of supplementary form: June 2012
Re medical request: September 2012
Medical done: October 2012
Passport request: February 2013
Passport return with visa: March 21st, 2013

Total time it took from the time file transferred to CHC Islamabad is 18 months.
I m thankful to Allah (SWT) for helping me out during this entire process time. It's a long wait but MashaAllah it all went well.

I wish everyone a very best of luck. May all of us live a happy life with our spouse in this beautiful land Canada.
