Last night I heard they may have received the paper but who knows.
If you get the renewal done from agents outside the PP office then you will get your renewed passport on normal time.

According to CIC my wife's file got transferred to Ottawa. Since ottawa timeline is already been passed, can you tell me if its a suitable time to order GCMS notes?

But in section A(4) I am selecting "Yes" and C(4), should i choose "Electronic files-> citizenship file" ??

from the 2009-2010 thread, the TCS tracking numbers for yesterday were 23009852781 to 23009852861. thus, today would be 23009852861 onwards.

Waht I'd say atleast when you get to know you've received remed request ..wherever you are start contacting IOM to get an appointment atleast. it's a period of 45 days within which you have to get done with your medical.

but my lawyer told me that CHC updates status as "in process" when they actually mail out something to the applicant. My husband and I are almost expecting something everyday! Allah (swt) knows best so i'll just hang on

check TCS headoffice for your package. sometimes due to wrong address, package return to embassy and if they can't contact you than in worse situation they can cancel your process and you have to do everything again from scratch, it happened with one of my relatives. i hope it will not happen with anyone among us...

Hi all,

I need bit of help here. Here is summary of my husband's application:
Submitted app: Aug 2011
Mississauga approved it and sends it to Islamabad: Oct 2011
Received acknowledgement along with supplementary information form: April 2012
After this we have not received any thing from them. When I email them they say your husband's file is in the queue to be scheduled for an interview: It has been like that since Aug 2012
We provided addition documents voluntarily: Feb 2013

I am very confused as to why they have not asked my husband for re-med, interview, or anything for that matter. I know they did mention in their emails that they do not require any further documents at this point. My lawyer keep telling me do not bother them by emailing them. I really do not know what to expect. I am just wondering if anybody else is experiencing same situation as I.

Another question: My husband's passport expires in 5 months. Is it advisable to renew his passport at this time? or should we wait? If we do renew the passport should we have to let immigrations know if so would that delay the process even more?

well i dont know about your first question but my passport is going to expire in jan 2014 and i knew they need a passport with the validity of 1 year so i already renew it. they didn't cancel my old passport but issue me a new one in lieu of old passport.

in my wife's instance they didn't send out anything till a month after the status changed on ecas to "in process" and due to the mail system in karachi, we got that remed letter about 45 days later!

Oh okay so it means they take as much time as they want anyway Allah(swt) is great.. I'll not think abt it anymore..

Im afraid sis this is not actually the case ...... in my personal experience and by the posts in this forum i can fairly say that ......cause .. my e case status changed to in process on 14 Feb but i received a letter from CHC -Isl on 5 march for RE-PCC which was actually dated 25th Feb... so can fairly see that there is no relation between these two events... so don't expect just think of it as a surprise and forget it ... it will come soon inshallah..... my prayers are with you... ... but by forgetting abt it you can actually drift through this anxiety feeling ... this is what i do and believe me it helped me a lot....

Oh! So if that's the case they must've forgot about my hubby... that's what I have been doing now. I stopped thinking about it.. Two friends of mine who started 1 month after their spouses landed already... I mean it's good that everyone is getting their visas but CHC should consider seniority.
I will totally stop expecting it.. You are right it is anxiety feeling Thanks for your advise
