i am new member, my case was filed in dec 2011, AOR received in feb 2012, is there anyone else like me here waiting for passport and re med req???

Alhumdulillah my status changed to 'Decision Made' today!!! Also, the address has changed, Allah ka shukar. Thank you so much for all the support and advices. A journey and wait of good 17 months is finally paying off.

I hope and pray that you all recieve the good news soon and get through the entire process as quickly as possible, in sha'Allah.

i have been really patient all these 17 months.. and my husband even agrees :d..
im so thankful to everyone for their advises and for guiding me what to do when i knew nothing...
all my updates happened on sunday... in process and now decision made too..
i hope i get my passport till next week..
and all of u would always remain in my prayers and i hope u all get ur visas soon .. i know the torture of being alone and waiting where its the most important time to be with ur spouse in the initial years of our marriage...

This give us hope to see that timeline is going really down Less then 1 year will be perfect but it is good to see CHC-I reducing thier backlog and accelerating the rythme

Fayzaan bro,Please don't loose hope,In Sha Allah you will get good news soon.

Canada has proven that they have World's worst immigration system and CIC is only meant to play with those Who have shown their Interest for Canada but they dont know we are only interested because our families spouses,sons & daughters living there ..!!
CIC can not keep their words and there is no transparency in the system itself...

What all I can say just forget about it and entirely focus on the present life and be happy where you are..this is what I am doing and feeling good..!!

Thanks Basilzaman, I do my best to try and focus on other things...but unfortunately there are family problems involved as well. And because of that, it only further frustrates the matter because phone communication is terrible. This is why I wish this would just end so that I can be with her and we can try to sort these things out.

Insha Allah things will work out real soon, im at the last step anyways...just a matter of getting that passport back.

Those who are saying that Canada has worst immigration system has never interacted with USA immigration system lol.... Even in visit visa after getting visa you have no right of inquiry about ur passport for 90 days..and they have no timeline for spousal visa ..and other family class my neighbor got her visa after 18 years her brother sponsored her and she had even forgotten about it

I don't think it would change to in process until after having the interview done...reason is because now they doubt your relationship and see no reason to further investigate until they're satisfied.

Also i have heard of a couple of people who had their application removed from interview queue because of additional proof or something. Maybe someone else can shed more light on this matter.

Has yours gone to IN PROCESS?
