CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

What I did is I had all originals with me here ( Canada ) and I made color copies from staples.
The color copies were as good ( even better ) than the originals.

In your case, I don't know how good scanned copies be. Because you will print them and the result might not be good.

I suggest that you ask her to courier you the originals and you can make copies here.
Or she can make color copies from Pakistan and courier you, but I don't know how good she can get color copies from Pakistan.

Don't forget, Chc wants originals and I took a chance by not sending the originals and luckily they never asked.
So, since you mention that originals might be needed during this process and for that reason you don't want to send originals; therefore, I suggest to get good color copies done.

I filed mine at the end of October and file was transferred December 22,2011. Now just waiting as well...

Today My Wife MP Got An Update from CHC-Islamabad,

She said there are some issues in our file and file has been returned to cic-Mississauga for reconfirmation something and She said they are thinking that I am living in Canada and I am sponsoring to my wife and Son from Pakistan and they said why I did not send my Son passport to them blah blah and even they are not providing complete info to my wife mp .Guys I am very confused and worried about my file. Mp said she will contact again to CHC-Islamabad on Monday and I hope they will tell her all the issues and problems regarding my file and then we will see whats going on with my file.

It's too depressing really! It is slowly torturing us i wonder what we did wrong to deserve this we gave our very best in this job.

Yes don't go to MP instead of wasting time with MP namaaz or khatm-e-Yasin would be a great help I can't wait either..!!

Dont worry, i m in the same situation. mine goes to "IN PROCESS" on 27-Feb-2013, n still didn't get any letter from CIC and so many other users in this forum are in same boat.

Just relax n pray for yourself and us as well.

Insha'Allah you will resolve any issues if there are any with your application. Allah (SWT) is great and we have faith and patience to survive this horrendous wait to begin our married life.

alhamdoulillah...
i have been really patient all these 17 months.. and my husband even agrees :d..
im so thankful to everyone for their advises and for guiding me what to do when i knew nothing...
all my updates happened on sunday... in process and now decision made too..
i hope i get my passport till next week..
and all of u would always remain in my prayers and i hope u all get ur visas soon .. i know the torture of being alone and waiting where its the most important time to be with ur spouse in the initial years of our marriage...
