CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Hello Everyone,

Congrats to the many forum members who have received their passport request...can someone please guide me or help me with my situation. My husband also had his remedical in July 2012, then CIC asked him for a re-PCC in October. After that we haven't heard anything from Islamabad...our case went into process back in May 2012... And now for some reason under the sponsorship column it says mine has gone from "decision made" to "in process" this occurred sometime in February...but that is reverse, why would the sponsorship application status change to in process....

We are really worried now that something has gone wrong with our case. No PPR has come, nothing from CIC

Anyone in a similar situation or know what this might mean? Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed weird little changes in late february and am curious if this is similar to what is happening for a lot of other people who got their status changed.

The Sponsorship Application Status: It went from Decision Made to "In Process". And it has an additional line stating that "we started processing your application on 2X April 2012. This is coincidentally the same date on which my paper file was sent to Ottawa. (per GCMS notes)

Permanent Residence Application Status: No change

Name of my spouse is now written in All Caps.

Yes this is exactly what i got on my ecase . I applied in feb 2012
I applied end of Nov - Recieved correspondence in late Jan. That's about all so far.

Hi Canadian Immigrant TCS called us just a couple minutes ago telling us where our address is to deliver our passport. So we gave it to them and they said tomorrow they will bring it and call us prior to bringing it.

However now that my son is born in Pakistan who is a Canadian due to me I have sent all documents, passport, etc. Islamabad recieved it on March 4, 2013 and hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks I recieve his passport back inshallah.

Mashallah, when did your status change to Decision Made?

Hello Everyone!

Its been a while i haven't been on this forum. I am not selfish but i just didn't want too.

Anyways as you all know my wife arrived in Canada safe and sound. Immigration officer did not ask her anything. She brought some gold too and was never asked anything about it. May be she was lucky.

The immigration officer did ask her my mobile number and that was pretty much it.

Her PR card was mailed and we received it about a month later after her arrival.

Life is in full "Chill Mode" as i get to eat home cooked food and someone is there to take care of me. The feeling is amazing and i really hope inshALLAH that everyone gets through this process quickly.

PS: Your expenses will hit the fan in the first month so make sure you have plenty of savings in your bank account. Moreover if you have sound job, then you don't need to worry about anything.

if you're having issues getting through to someone (I know my wife did), then just send them an e-mail to book appointment. You will receive a response faster that way.
