CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Hi ,

a quick quetion for all of u , i already sent my passport to CHC-I on dec 29 and waiting for thoer reply (total case time is almost 24 months)

my qusetion is this my wife holds canadian passport and she is with me right now in Pakistan , can she asks CHC-I personally for my passport return and if yes

how she can asks and to whom she should asks , or by telephonic or by mail.

Please reply asap.

oh yeah i'm sure u will be able to get an itinerary from a travel agent. infact u can get a tentative booking done and get an itinerary for when you plan on travelling.

but this is helpful if ur sponsor is with you and you r plannin on leaving together. As per RougeAmour "It helped me and my husband receive our passport back sooner. It can't hurt to try. " so its not a 100% but worth a try...good luck!

but it did not help others by sending an extra piece of paper it does not mean it will help in getting visa sooner. and if that member thinks he received his visa soon because of itinerary then he is wrong. If need proof check 2010 thread

Not a V/O but a waiting period of 3 years in Immigration queue has given me enough knowledge.
Do not trust blindly on whatever people write here. I have seen people destroying their own cases by sending them bunch of stupid papers.
Now dont think i am saying that sending an Itinerary will destroy a case.
You will only get visa faster once your process has been completed and medical results have been received by them.
After an Interview ZiaulHaq75 sent his passport with Itinerary and guess what nothing happened it has been more then 2 and half months since he sent his passport. I myself sent my PP with Itinerary now it has been more then 1 and a half month but no sign of Passport return.

i asked can my wife asks to CHC-I for quick reply on my passport return with visa , becoz i also read in this forum that someone got refusal because

'Since Innigration officer believe Sponsor does not reside in Canada and he did not do so when he filed the application till the day decision is made. Specifically from Nov 2011 till present i.e. 20 May 2012 so he is not eligible to sponsor his wife'.

so wutt is ur say this is only applicable for PR or citizens also.

Well question for you how your wife is going to launch an inquiry? because so far when they have the passport they do not reply to the email.
you can only get an update via MP, it is not harmful to get an inquiry done they will not ask about the settlement of your wife in Canada at this stage.
is there any way you can contact MP?
