Same here, as i have also no travel history , I think background check will take longer if someone has travel history. bcz they have to get information from countries where u have visited in past, so thats why it is time taking process.
So i guess if no travel history u may get PPR within 3 to 5 months from remed date. and if u have travel history then it may take around 4 to 8 months depend upon the country u visited.

What is differentiate between final. review and After completion of background checks they forward file to a decision making officer. Within ONE month decision is made IS final review will be conducted after decision making officer?

I got first response after 17 months for remedical. The process is extremly slow. It looks like there are less than 10 people who is managing all the work and :-X

I must give 10/10 to people who need Saudi Police Clearance or People who had to deal with Saudi Authorities at any point of time in their life.

I wouldn’t think background checks are long procedure in today’s day/n age, put your name into few databases and boooom there is.
What’s taking 8 months to check? It’s a lame excuse on CHC-I side to scare people off (maybe) not to marry back home.
How can a procedure that took 3/4 months went to 7/8 months now takes 26 and more months.....
Have our PC,s slowed down? Are we working less efficiently or just being lazy, Pakistan’s Gov. & its dif. agencies are as corrupt as they were few years back, nothing really has changed in Pakistan.

Solution to the problem is simple: “The Hon. Harper clan needs to go” ;)

There is no delay in Background checks, CHC-ISB has very limited human resource which is causing delays.
If anyone tells you that it is taking 6 to 8 months in Background checks then they are just commenting on what they heard from other people.

they should hire more people then, how can they not notice if a countries spousal immigration is taking upto 26 months???
or they really dont care
