almost evryone one of u have updated for ur interviews as "waived"......
have all of u ordered ur GCM (hope da abbreviation is correct notes? ???
or u guys just knw it? coz u have got re-med letters? is it dis way?

Getting Remdical request does not mean that one's interview has been waived.
We 2010 applicants have seen so many people who had their re medical and then they were called for the interview even some cases had 3rd medical.

I dont understand what your concern is but just provide them with the police certificates for yourself only (i am sure you dont have 18 years old children who will accompany you to Canada...) for all the cities where you have stayed for six months or more...just like the ones you provided them with your initial application..

sabii is right....its a standard sentence..you just need to submit ur police certificate

As for the courier....if you go to the TCS office they will be able to help you out with tcs prepaid courier.

There is no such thing as prepaid courier when someone send their passport to CHC they only provide you 1 silver bag and if u ask them for prepaid they will let you know that CHC has their station and payment will be collected from consignee once the passport is returned.

Order GCMS , you will be able to find out if they have grouped your file WVR = meaning your interview is waived.

Assalam-o-alaikum Everyone,

I desperately need information regarding my new born child file update. I applied for my wife in November 2012, I have not heard anything from CHC till 31st December and then I left Canada for parental leave. On 1st January 2013 we got our first baby born. Now question is....how can I update my child's information in my wife's file, get his medical done and pay his fees. I am in Pakistan till 25th February 2013.

Thanks MRS SAM, Doncarlos and other fellows for your responses. Sorry I lost the pilot and could not chase this topic further as I am strugling a bit with new born and other helath problem going on in my family (pray for us). Let me provide more information to give you guys better idea. I emailed to CHC on 9th January 2013 about our baby's birth along with his Name, DOB and place of birth, I also mention applicant's name, DOB, sponsor's name and DOB along with payment receipt number. I am on PR in Canada.

I will appreciate your responses along with some experiences or hyperlinks to information.

I think once VO Believe our relationship is genuine then they put our file in wvr group.

In my GCMS notes VO wrote this :

" First I put this file in interview Que but after seeing recently proofs from sponsor's visit to his wife. I believe this relationship is genuine and I am forwarding this file for next course of action".

That's where I come to know my file is no more in interview Que or mean interview waived .

Yes my wife did remed in July. this seems to be a different remed than she has received in the past. In fact this request was sent via email. The form is IMM1017e (12-2012), if I email them then it will take maybe 3 months to get a response and who knows they may insist on getting it done.


no, e-case status is still application received.

The Guy who filled our forms at IOM that day left the visa office place empty (on that green form with picture).... that might be the reason
I havent heard anything from them since Re-Med... e-case status is still application received...
