I am not the only for my cousins it says the same thing
and that's why ur timeline seemed weird to me.. I hate this!
:( They confuse us man!!

Don't worry. E-case is not reliable for comparison. It all depends on the Visa Officer reviewing your file and how he perceives the process. Different visa officers may take the phrase ''in process'' to refer to different stages of processing of the application. For instance, I know from my GCMS notes that my file is being reviewed regulalrly but my e-case only says ''Application received''.

Do you guys have timeline similar to this?
it seems strange to me cause my timeline says:

we received your application for permanent resident of Oct ___ 2011

we Started processing your application on Dec___2011

Medical resaults received.

if mine says started processing after two months
it's strange I see your timeline says started processing
October 2012 while you sent your applications on February 2011 :S
Dear In ECAS DECISION MADE they wrote We started processing your application on deb 2011. go to Application received whenever they write there we start processing your application on any date then start expecting PPR....so there is no need to worry. the same thing happening with me. i also send u private message in ur inbox if u can answer me urgently plz...

Alright, Thanks that makes more sense to me though

other husband case applicants from Oct.2011
Thanks again:) Allah bless you

my husband (the applicant) So now i know what you

Assalam O Alikum ! Dear Brothers and Sisters! I am a new member of this forum and I need some information & advice from senior members. I am a Husband case (Nikkah only). We had filed our case in May 2011 and had received AOR along with Supplementary Form, RePCC & other communication proofs request in June 2012. Since then we didn't hear anything from CHC so we applied for GCMS notes. Now after receiving the notes, we came to know that CHC has put us in Interview Queue because of not having rukhsati / Walima Ceremony (Since September 2012). Now I have 2 Questions:

(1) Is there any time span in which they send you Interview Request after putting you in Interview Queue ?
(2) If it will be beneficial for us to perform Rukhsati / Walima Ceremony before receiving Interview call ? Will it waive Interview after sending these proofs to CHC ?

Thanks & Best Regards

That can be beneficial since it will be a change in your marriage status (Nikah to Rukhsati). I do not think it will waive the interview...

There is a possibility for your interview to be waived off. One of our members here was initially in interview queue but then was removed from it.

Dear Senior form members. i got this email last month from CHC

Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

I'm also in the same boat. I applied in March 2011, and was placed in interview queue because of no rukhsati in March 2012. And that is something I learned only through GCMS notes. They haven't contacted us since March 2012 which means that I have been in this queue for almost a year without any official correspondence from them.

My advice to you is to get your rukhsati done as soon as possible and send them the proofs voluntarily. It is hoped that this will speed up your case, Insha Allah!
