Sorry for bombarding you with questions hun. 2012 applicants have been told that files have been transferred to Islamabad but they have actually been transferred to Ottawa, so I am just checking.

my husband passport is with embassy .. n its 2 weeks now..

I didn't get any email I don't know what you mean by email
I received the acknowledgement letter indicating that my file
was transferred to Islamabad visa section for further processing

Hmmm.... Did you order GCMS?? If so, what's the code of the officer(s) reviewing your file?? Nevertheless, I think your case should process sooner Insha Allah as it does not seem to be in interview queue.
