If you want to believe or not it's your choice. It's not the first time thing like this happened in my life. However, the best thing is that Allah gave me my bestfriend in my husband. I always tell him everything and he understands and believes me. I can't give you out the names or the phone # for privacy reasons, just to make you believe. This is why I mentionned a story apart To think about something other than CIC for a while

When you have a doubt about something or a person, just ask that person directly and the way this person will react to your question or comment gives you enough proof to know if he/she is saying the truth or not.
Often, people who lie get uncomfortable when asked about the thing. Non-verbal helps a lot too
We don't always need proofs to prove everything.

No it is not a type of social assistance . It does not have anything to do with your application. Not all the benefits are bad . Only the bad benefits are the ones that you take because you are not willing to fulfill your responsibility

Like for example EI is a type of benefits ... but the reason it is different from social assistance is that you pay for your EI when your working and the system knows that while your taking EI you are willing to work and you will be back on your job soon
Where as social assistance is more like survival kit and the person receiving it is only receiving it because that person can not take care of himself . And until that person starts taking care of himself he can not sign anyone else's undertaking

Latest from my side

And so it turns out that my sweet hubby showed our GCMS notes to a lawyer. And then we got our shock of the life time! According to the GCMS notes, CHC MISPLACED our file!

We are yet to chalk out our strategy with the help of lawyer. Do pray for us that this pain is over for us sooner, as Canadian Immigration has become a stinking sore in our lives, and we simply can't wait for this nightmare to be over.

Any suggestions regarding our latest fix are welcome.


And of course, i suggest that each one of the 2010 and early 2011 cases order their GCMS notes, and get them checked by a lawyer because there are some things that we might not be able to recognize as CHC Malfunction

and again, prayers and prayers we need!

Ohhh sis don't worry just pray. Might be ur file is in Ottawa. My prayers are with you.

BY THE GRACE OF ALLMIGHTY GREAT ALLAH I RECIEVED MY PASSPORT AND MY DAUGHTES PASSPORT STAMPED VISA TODAY 12:15 PM.

ALTHOUGH I HAVNT BEEN WRITING TOO MUCH N FORUM THESE DAYS BECAUSE I HAD BEEN SO FRUSTRAED AND SAD ABT PASSPORT RETURNS. THEY TOOK 5 MONTHS AND 10 DAYS TO STAMP VIS AND ANOTHER 5V DAYS TO SEND IT BACK.
TOTALTIME AFTER APPLICATION FILED IS 19 MONTHES AND 18 DAYS.

Your timeline is actually very similar to mine. The only difference seems to be the part where I got the call from CHC in August to ask if I could land before my med expired. When did your first medical expire?

Even though I hope your's is a swift process.. but I'm beginning to feel that international background checks really do take very long. My passport has been gone for 4 months and there are others who've been waiting for as long as 6 months without any news.. and my theory is that these are cases where the applicant has done extensive travel. And they keep that passport for that long in order to BLOCK the person from travelling anymore so he/she doesn't build any more international history for them to further check. That's my theory atleast.

So people waiting for 2+ months after PPR, can you please share whether there has been any travel on your part ??

I,was reading timeline for most ppl.....what I understand is ur interview is waived when u get a re-med request?is this da way it works?
N I was reading that chc has,lost someones file......let me share my exprrience....I had submitted my documents of proof n original reciptes of shopping abroad as proff of travelling together in July....then in sept I rcvd mail frm chc that they r waiting for my documents.......
I then send them the phoyocopy of recipet frm Tcs.....dat I had send all my docs on dis dis dat n was rcvd at chc by dis dis name......then aftr2 months I rcvd mail frm them dat my application is underprocess...no furthr Acton is req by me....lol....

yea I had similar situation and I did the same as you...included the TCS tracking# and that SANA received the documents with the date of receiving it...but I resent the docs too.

lolzzz So trueee plus, we living here when we go to pk we don't even look like most pk people. And for people in pk it's like they never saw someone like us before. My hubby used to take me on his bike everywhere. and coz I have really long hair people would just not stop starring. Even now when im here ppl keep asking my hubby what your wife does to have hair long like this. and my hubby tells them that i fill my bath tub with mustard oil and let my hair sink in for all night then i wake up and put shampoo on my hair and just go to university like this. once home i wash my hair. ppl keep thinking and say mustard oil filling the tub with mustard oil would be quite expensive lolzzz
You know sis how it feels when we get those looks from people in pk, but my hubby and his family know that im a very innocent type and im a very straight forward person who says everything on the face. They always try to pamper and protect me lolz
