so i finally got a reply back from the embassy, I sent them an email on the 26th of nov, and got a reply on the 14th , and it says, just tht the application is in process and no further action is required, soooo...... what next?

avoid communication via email with them, from what I have understood from this forum is that they don't like it. What is your timeline so far?

we applied in sep 2011 and got an AOR on 17 Nov 2011, that's it, no correspondence from them after that.

this was the second email in over an year, once my husband emailed them back in may, when they said its in queue for initial review.
we applied in sep 2011 and got an AOR on 17 Nov 2011, that's it, no correspondence from them after that.

by AOR...I believe you are referring to the one that states that you have been approved as a sponsor? usually it takes 10-12 months before they actually open and start working on your case. Insha Allah you should be receiving AOR for permanent residence soon with any additional docs request or remed etc.

At last I reached Canada and complete all the process and wait for PR card.

How about the immigration process at pearson airport, what document they need to see other than ur visa / pp.

The same email they send to me too...i m june 2011 applicant and still waiting for PPR..i think they are working in background checks

wow man...Ottawa only 12 month's...*sigh* I wish we were in that one...I guess its only 12 month's for you Insha Allah...I mean its based on visa processing center not based on what country you're applying from. So I can't see why you would have to follow Islamabad's processing time.
