Alhamdulillah Today my ECAS changed to "InProcess". They started Processing my application in this month however according to GCMS they opened my file in August for the first time. How much more time for PPR? I did my re-medical on 3rd Dec.

if we have to send additional documents then would we send them through email or mail it to Islamabad office?

Send them through mail...TCS courier will b the best option.

. I don't think they realize anything I dun think my hubby is getting visa anytime soon if it has to be valid for atleast six months then they will send pp back. Is there anyone else who send there pp and its abt to expire soon ?

hmm...even if it was to expire so long as you travel while its valid who can stop you?? where does it say that the passport has to be at least 6 months+ valid?

hmm...even if it was to expire so long as you travel while its valid who can stop you?? where does it say that the passport has to be at least 6 months+ valid?

Most embassys world wide wants your passport have to be minimum 6 month before expired and valid.
This is standard requirements before they can stamp the visit visa. Not sure for Canadians PR visa.

Yea I can understand visit visa since they expect you to return after your visit, but for PR? shouldn't be...I could be wrong though.

I have a question plz...I am Afghan and my file was transfered in june 2011...Without contacting Mp is there any procedure to contact with anyone else? most of the people says our case is also processing in Ottawa, is it for everyone or for specific members? plz kindly udate me soon bcz if Ottawa is listening to us and can run our case quickly plz give me the details about them or share the link with me....Waiting

I think CHC guys are working to conclude the 2010 cases for last couple of weeks. and sending PPR to 2010 cases. I see a few PPR for 2011 cases for last couple of weeks.
So 2011 guys we will get PPRs in 2013 INsha Allah.
Donot loose hope and pray as much as u can for help FRom Allah .
In sha Allah this tough time will be finished soon.

Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah...Shukar Alhamdulilah. FINALLY My husband got his passport back with visa today.

Thanks to Allah we are done with the process. I hope everyone receives good news soon INSHALLAH.

It was a husband case. I sponsored my husband in Dec 2010, the timeline is as follows:

Application filled: Dec 2010
File reached ISB: Jan 2011
Re-Pcc and supplementary forms: Feb 2012
Re-medical: Mar 2012
Passport request: 19 Oct 2012
Sent Passport on 22 Oct 2012
Received Passport back today
