Another day, another incident. I cannot stress enough how much I want to leave this country.
My husband and I were supposed to fly to Toronto this morning from Karachi but our flight was delayed from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm citing technical faults in the aircraft. We then got a call t 12:00 noon informing us that the flight has been delayed further to 3 am Monday morning. PIA sucks

I am not sure the email address you sent it to sends a automated response or not...but at this point, as long as you've verified the address is correct just leave it and concentrate on getting those PCC's. They tend to call if they need something.

Did you get an official letter requesting this? or just an email?

Hey fayzaan, thanks for your response. I only got an email response to my 2 months previous inquiry about the status of our application. Couple of days ago I also received GCMS notes ant it has a number of notes saying that PCC for certain cities not provided. I recieved AOR letter in May. It was a form letter with check marks on certain documents that they require. PCC was checkmarked too but we did not know then that it has to be from every city.
Now that you mentioned email address, I think I made a mistake by replying back to their email. I have just noticed that email was send back to
re-islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca where it should have been islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

Hi ..... I applied for my husband in nov 2011. They received it on jan 6, 2012 then they sent me letter saying that I am eligible to sponser him to Canada. Since then it always says application received for permanent resident. Can anyone tell me what's going to happen next and when approximately ??? Please and thanks!!

Your best bet is to order GCMS notes to find out. Also, email Islamabad embassy.

Case sent - September 2011
Case Received by Immigration - Dec 2011
Request for additional Docs (QC selection and Supplementary form), but I sent recent communications, bank statements, police certificate, money transfers as well - July 2012
Re-Medical Request - 01 Oct 2012
Re-Medical Done - 04 Oct 2012
Passport Request - 28 Nov 2012
Passport Sent - 1 Dec 2012

What is the MAX and what is the MIN time to get the passport back? And by requesting the passport, does it mean everything is clear and ok?

I need some help especially from Pakistan residents being sponsored. Is there any flight that directly non-stop come from pakistan to canada? Because my wife has no english skills really and has never travelled before. Therefore for her it is easier if it is a one way flight straigh to canada where I can pick her up. Is this possible. If not what is the best thing to do? Thanks

who told you to take PIA ..just take Emirates via Dubai and enjoy the journey..
