Today the MPs assistant finally got back to us and told us that our file has not even been touched yet and nothing has been done so far and it will at least be another 6 to 8 months and that isb embassy tells them that they start viewing the files after 16 months of being transferred. My husband asked him why some people hear back within 6 months

You're aware that the current timeline for the Islamabad visa office is 26 months, right?

Yes, some people will get it sooner, some people will get it right at 26 months, and some people will need 32 months.

There's no point in asking "why do some people get it quicker than others?" That's just reality. They can't process ALL applications on the same day to make everybody happy at the exact same time.

if you move to the US would you be with your husband? If so then by all means go ahead. It's just a good idea to not wait on CHC to do anything. So as a general principle forget that you've even applied.

hello jahanzeb. Yes there are a few of us here who have been waiting close to four months after giving the passport.in one case they even requested a medical furtherance after four months. So consider this normal.

hey hope your doing well , im in the saame boat as you , im a canadian citizen too , sponsering my hhusband ,
im living with him in pak too and im pregnant its been 3 months , the best thing too do is go back to canada
and have the baby there , thats what my lawyer told me im going back in 10 days , so i think its better that way.

Thanks for reply. I just want to clear one more thing on which grounds your lawyer recommended you to go back to Canada. I mean what are the problem if the baby delivers in Pakistan?

I don't think the lawyer was advising her to do it for legal reasons, but rather for all the other reasons which are common sense.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH EVERYONE'S ATTITUDE LATELY?

I come here and see everyone being so rude and mean to each other and please DO NOT use CHC as an excuse for everything thing in this forum. I was about to write something the other day but then never mind coz no point everyone is already stressed. But everyone needs to take a Fu*king Chil Pill. There is nicer ways of talking to people and helping each other. this is not only for new member but also some old members that are acting like snobs.

I mean everyone came to this forum knowing nothing, and everyone just helped one another in order for everyone to get some knowledge but now, those people that have ppr and visa or spouses already landed act as if they know everything and that they never been through this.

Honestly people used to fight in this forum and then 2 hours later make up and it was done, but now its just on going of attitude problem, being rude and ignoring people. GET A Fu*king reality check everyone has been or are going through this. Its better to be nice then to be a As*.

Sorry but i had enough of holding it in and taking much bullsh*t from some people through the forum or inbox. W.E
I have no interest in fighting with people over the stupid internet.

Yes, unfortunately I'm in the interview queue. My reason was pretty logical but apparently the visa officer doesn't like logic! I told them Rukhsati will take place after my wife completes her studies but my file has been kept in Interview queue despite this.

My timeline is under my name to the left of this post.

Just curious wanted to know that the temporary 2 yrs visa for spouse in the new law counts for which cases? 2012 cases or for all the visas granted after the law passed or all the cases filed after the law passed??

The logical thing would be to apply it to all cases filed after the law passed, but this is just my guess.

Anyways, how's your case coming along??? : Have you heard anything since sending them Rukhsati proofs??
