Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office > File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Eligibility Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check > Issue of Additional docs Request [if any] > 1st BF'D > e-Cas: "In Process" > Send Addnl. Docs > Issue of Med Request > 2nd BF'D >

Stage-3: Meds Sent > e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Issue of PPR* > Send Passport/s > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made" >
*The Meds & PPR are sometimes 'clubbed' together.

Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed".

Not sure what you're referring to..

Each of those things have 3 stages, but I'm not sure what specifically you're asking for.

I have my UCI and application # which starts with an F..

Do I put my info where they ask for name and dob and place of birth or my husbands?

hes the applicant and im sponsoring him.

My Wife Got this response From MP today :

In response to your request please be informed that your application is in process and Active for review by an immigration officer and they received your supporting documents on 1st November 2012.

its means that they are done with the initial review ? so what you guys think about this reply? and what u think now when i will received letter from them???

If they received on 1st nov so when did u send those documents?

In Identifcation type u need to click on Immigration file num then give ur file number which starts from F.........
Then SurName of the Applicant. Date of birth of applicant, place of birth of applicant which is written in passport.and click on continue. it will show u the complete ECAS record.

Maybe they didnt update ur ECAS right now....you are looking new applicant so u need to wait for few more days.

Do Something else. i am sure they also gave u Client Number too.

So This time go to Identification Type. click on Client Id Number, then give give client number, then surname or last name of the sponsor, date of birth and place of birth of sponsor. if u still didnt get the info and says it is incorrect then u need to wait for few more days...thanks

Hello All,
I recently applied for sponsorship for my wife in may 2012 and file was transferred to CHC Islamabad in July and current status say " medicals received" .I have 2 questions reg this process.
1- Although website says that it takes 26 months but realistically how long it is expected to take ?
2-Background and security checks are done by who? Do they have their own agency/personnel who conduct these background checks or do they check with local police depts in the concerning district ?
