CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

first they called, then on sept 25th they sent a letter which I received on 19th or 20th of October. They asked for more pics and the marriage vcd (not dvd) (which is what they asked over the phone) and they wanted pics during my recent visit and copy of passport showing the entry/exit stamps and more financial support proof and more communication proof.

For communication proof issue is my wife and I stopped using skype back in like September. We've been talking over the phone and since my wife uses cell phone + phone cards to call me (cheaper from there and because shes always busy for me so she calls when shes available) so she doesn't have records for proof. And here in Canada its illegal for phone companies to show the phone#'s of incoming calls...so now its almost impossible to show 100% proof that my wife is calling me. On the rare occasions that I call her, I have included Raza.com records for that.

So what I did was use some software from my phone to print the call logs (incoming & outgoing) + cell phone bill which shows incoming for number + date, time and duration and they can compare with the call logs. It's not the greatest proof but I guess its better than nothing...

New applicants; here is a word of caution. Never, ever do this. Get a postpaid plan, make sure you communicate over email, skype, facebook, gtalk, etc, send each other cards and gifts, and have some meaningful pictures at hand. Costs you some time and effort, but pays you a lot in the end.

Dear bro, i hope it will help u special ur ticket and exit and entry...and yeah tell ur wife to go to the office and give them her NIC so they will give her the complete call log history..in first while i was submitting my case. i went to UFONE office and asked them my complete calling history. so they gave me...u do the same

My wife received PPR+Remed on 17th July. She got her medical done from IOM(Karachi) on 18th and 19th she sent PP and medical receipt to CHC-I.

have ur status changed into decision made before ur wife get ur passport?

thanks evryone for wishing me.....m so thankful....i hav joined dis forum a few days bak....wish i had joined dis earlier...evryone here is so supportive...just lik a family...n thn we all had one common prblm...visa....lol...so we really understood each others pain....thnk u so much...n for all of those who r waiting for their visa...a little advice....be patient....n always b thankful for evrythng....jub b visa ayee khaair say ayee....i hav visa...but i knt travel...m on bed rest for a month..do pray for my health....

Hi,

I submitted application for PR in Nov-2011 in Spouse Sponsorship Catagory. I received letter for IOM Medical on 10-10-2012. I under gone the medical examination on 15-10-2012.

What should I expect next?

I heared that IOM Medical is the last stage and It took me just another 4 months to get Visa. Is it??
