And i think being depressed for your life partner is alot better then finding joy elsewhere
I think being depressed and missing your partner is because of love and responsibility that you share with your partner

It's great that you find your happiness in your love life, but when it's come to CIC, things are out of your hands...

inshallah you will be with your wife one day, but till than enjoy ur life the way you want...
 
I have a question, this might have been answered before though. When its an interview case, do they first ask to prove the relationship as genuine or straight put you in the interview que? Something I am a little concerned about, do they give time in between to kinda like prove that your relationship is genuine (recent pictures, communication proof etc.)?

Hi Jerry,

In most cases, they do give you a chance to provide more proof of relationship if the immigration officer isn't satisfied with the amount or quality of proof of relationship before they put you in the interview queue. They ask you to provide recent pictures, visit info, telephone and text logs etc etc (basically anything that supports your ongoing relationship).

I always suggest everyone to send more proof after 4-6 months of file transfer if you feel that the proof of relationship might not be sufficient when you submitted the application.

I sent more proof of ongoing relationship along with an updated PCC 6 months after file transfer. When the officer reviewed the case, he/she didn't ask for more proof or PCC, and asked for Re-med and Passport.

Also, a lot depends on the immigration officer as well. Some needs to be convinced more than others. Although there are some cases where they don't even need to ask for more proof before they put you in the interview queue. Some of them are as follows:

- 2nd Marriages (Not applicable in all cases, depending on the visa officer)
- Girl being older than guy (Age difference of more than 3-4 years where the girl is older is alarming for them)
- applicant's history of living in foreign countries or Canada (They suspect that the applicant married for gaining citizenship only)
- Applicant well settled in Pakistan and have a lot of wealth (They are curious, why the applicant want to leave Pakistan and what are the chances that he/she is marrying for citizenship only)
 
Morning Folks,

I just read a few post in 2009/2010 forum, some are scary..waiting in interview quest for over 15 months,
others have waited well over 26 months.

few questions:

a Would cic post medical have been received if an interview is still required?
b would they ask for updated PCC as well as prof of ongoing relationship before scheduling an interview at all?

some input would be appreciated.
