m a new member of this forum but i had beeen reading it for so long... i wanna ask the ottawa members that do they get their medical nd passport request by email orny mail. also thay my hubby appointed a lawyer to file the case ... and our e cass shows the current mailing adress of the lawyer... i wanna ask the senoir members also that what should i expect... since its wife case

What do you mean by Ottawa members? the process, I believe, is the same regardless of what city/province you live in (except Quebec). And remed or ppr are sent by mail only, I don't think they send emails for such request.

What is your timeline so far? then we can help give you a better answer.

well they actually ask for PCC,if someone living at place more den 6 months....
dnt complicate it much dear...just ask for it ,where u r living.. at present.

i just want to know from the people who got re pcc in wife cases after remedical but not before.. is it because they lived in more than one place for more than 6 months... what am i complicating ?... and i have lived in islamabad all my life.. have been to other places but not for more than 6 months... so i just sent one place's pcc... and i didnt get re pcc and got my re medical.. but people who werent asked for re pcc before have been asked for after re medical... mostly in husband cases but now some in wife cases too so just wanted to know may be because they have been living in more than one city or country for more than 6 months ???... only wife cases im talking about in here

That is a good question, my wife got repcc and yes she lived in Quetta and Rawalpindi. So I had to send for Quetta & Pindi.

yar my husband has sponsored me ...m from peshawar....i m not done wid my remed yet...but they had asked me for repcc...which i ve submitted later on.......doesnt matter...dnt worry....i ve spent almost more den 10 years away...as was in hostel...but i made it from where m living now..(means my home/my area).....soo dnt worry as u had submitted before,they (CPO)wud renew dat.....
And by the way CHC is unpredictable ..they can ask for anythng anytime...so noooo worries

For all those who are wondering about how PCC works:

1) At the time of filing the application, you have to send the PCC for all the districts you live in. If you lived at more than one address in one city for more than 6 months and the other address is in another district where you lived more than 6 months, then you have to send two PCCs.

2) For Re-PCC, you only have to send the PCC for the district you lived in from the time the last PCC was issued(Application submitted). So if you lived in the same district, then you only need to send 1 PCC from that district. If you changed address after applying, then you will have to send two PCC's. One from the old address district and one from the new address district. And if both addresses are in the same district, then its only 1 PCC.

That is really frustrating...I don't know why they didn't just ask for my husbands PCC when they asked for supplementary forms...it's just so inefficient. All they had to do was ask back in June and it would have saved us a few months.

CHC is just hurting us...in june i got supplementry forms and asked to send them Orignal nikah khat...they didnt asked for PCC that time even it was expired. i taught she not gonna ask again bcz it is already expired but now they asked again for PCC...they are just wasting our time nothing else...it is already 17 months since my case is transfered to islamabd CHC but still didnt get PPR
