Where do you live? Shouldnt you be here in Canada through out the process? I mean a short period of time is ok. but do you live in england??

did you get your UCI #?? you can email them for that and you must notify them that your address has changed.. however i believe both the husband and the wife get the mail in which the eligibility is mentioned.. so maybe your husband got it instead?

i m living in pakistan, but went to england for a holiday, n now i m moving to canada.
no i havnt got my uci # yet. on which email address should ask dem for it.
no only the person who is sponsoring get the mail not the applicant (my husband). 3 months has already passed, dey must hav sent the letter which i havnt received coz first i went on holiday den i changed my address,

u kno that ur creating problems for ur self,,,, ur background check will be longer since ur moving from one country to another in short period of time.... n u can email mississuage or chc to get ur file number n client id..

Nope, no update from them. They didn't reply when they could have, they're definitely not going to be any better with the embassy shut.

Yes you are correct. As a Canadian citizen you are allowed to travel.

You should get an email from CIC (if email was provided)

If no email provided then a letter will come to your given address.

It's a new project. There is no specfic time. At the moment people have been waiting for 10 months no reply yet.

does anyone know that how long ottawa takes to process file??????

Hi Everyone,

I sponsored my husband who lives in Lahore to come to Quebec, Canada. I sponsored my husband in November 2011 and I received the status of "Decision Made" in March. After that, I was told that we are now waiting for PR (Permanent Residency). Apparently, that's supposed to take 3 months? I processed the application through a lawyer. We were wondering how much longer it would take and if hiring a lawyer makes a difference in the processing time? Any information, feedback, and/or advice would be appreciated.

what ever you want to bring to canada is tax free for you
you can bring the stuff with you or give them the list of the stuff that you intend to have shipped in
anyone can bring your stuff to canada later as long as you give them the list of the stuff first time at customs

no, but you should abide by the visit visa's expiry date and return when it expires... other than that no worries... you could apply for extension, if you get great, if not then o well, better go back...
