tht's exactly wht i think too. Also, when ppr comes it clearly says " yor immigrant visa(s) appear(s) ready for issuane" if it's ready then y r u taking so long to stamp it.
it took 2 days for the medical results to go to India nd y they r holding on to it? nd plus can't CHC-I ask them to send results back as embassy already have ppl's passports.

processin medical isnt tht time consuming...
islamabad ppl r makin us a fool...
and india takes a month to process medical.!! and they send results thru email.. NOT TCS OR FEDEX..

We received your application to sponsor Ahmad shah on May 19, 2011.

We started processing your application on June 22, 2011.

We sent you a letter on June 22, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

and there is another link by the name of application received which is in Permanent Residence Application Status so when i click Permenent residence application status it shows the following information

We received Ahmad Shah application for permanent residence on July 12, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

So there is no word process from the start....so is it a normal case and is everything all right regarding my case? plz reply me if any body knows...thanks

So you logged in using the sponsor's ID/Information - where it will show you the the sponsorship side and the permanent residence side. At this point you've already been approved to be a sponsor and that is why your file was transferred to Islamabad. Now they are working on the permanent residence for the applicant(s). So at this point they've received your remed results, which is good...I guess you're close to getting PPR.

I am new on this forum. But have been following it for a long time and find it very helpful.

My query is:
I filed for my wife's PR application in Jan 2011. Her re-medical was done in July 2012. Can anyone tell me that when should she expect the passport request. Since she is also planning to go on Hajj in October. I hope that the time doesn't clash. And even if it does I hope it should not be problem if she sends her passport after her return from Hajj. Can anyone please tell how much time do they give to send the passport after they send the request. Any help will be appreciated.

yes, that is normal... ppl got Visa with the status "application received" so no need to worry

all the documents in this form are required for processing your case and they will not start processing your application until receive all the document
so the best idea is to send all of them

for cnic send them a copy back to back attached with english translation from a registered translator, attested by notary public also with stamp and seal of ministry of foreign affairs

for passport copy of first page with picture and copy of the page that has your signature attested by notary public only because ministry of foreign affairs does not attest passports

and one documents that is only for pakistanis is attested english translation of you nikah nama if they did not ask for it now then you must have already sent it OR they will ask for it just before starting to process you application and that can delay your application if not sent to them with application

police clearance certificate has to go as is but it has to be with in 3 months of issue date and you have to get one from every city of pakistan that you lived in for more then 6 months at a time since you were 18 .... and if you lived outside pakistan since you were 18 you have to get police clearance form that country too

and for pakistani cases they also require original education documents not photocopy but before you send original to them make copies for yourself have them attested by ministry of foreign affairs and HEC because if you need them while your original documents are gone the attested copies will be as close to original as it gets.

Hay you can send all the documents in one shot or you can make them wait and ask for them one by one

it takes them 3 to 6 months before they will open your file again if they open your file and find out there is documents missing they will ask for it and close your file for another 3 to 6 months ....... and they will keep doing it untill they have everything they need to start the process


thats what i found out so far but you know what.... thats my opinion

I have already sent these document when we applied for visa
We sent all educational certificates, certified Urdu and English copy of CNIC, original nikah Nama in Urdu and English, original birth certificate, police certificate, pics, financial support proof and all forms filled properly.
Now they sent AOR and listed many documents
In letter they are saying , "send those documents which are tick marked" but no document is tick marked but some words are underlined that's why I am confused what to do and which documents to send

I went to MP's office had to make an appointment nd then gave him the information on the appointment day. MP contacted Islamabad nd emailed me the response. tht's how i did

And then I get told of the greatness of Pakistan...hah

so the tracking numbers we get from IOM are just for the shipment from Pakistan to India office? not from India back to ISB? why isn't Pakistan using email? I bet because they don't know how. Efficiency isn't their thing I guess . So tired of this.

Because no one trusts Pakistan, that is the only thing I can think of...otherwise before you could do your remeds in Pakistan and send the results right?? I remember that's how it was when my wife did her initial medical.
