Hello all,

Really need help of those recently through process, I had my MP make an inquiry to both a VO in Ottawa and Islamabad. Ottawa has told them that they received passport on July 25 and fees on August 7, Medical still pending!? My wife has completed medical July 19...is it normal for them to have nothing this far? I have this really bad feeling that they might be lost?


By the way I had submitted fees at start so I assume this "received" means something?

tht's exactly the same situation which i'm going thorugh. I asked my MP to do the inquiry nd same reply. they are waiting for the medical results. ur wife did medical on 19 july nd my husband did medical on 17 july nd pp sent on july 18. Hopefully they will get our spouses medical results soon nd issue the visa soon INSHALLAH.

whenever you send passport+remedical to chc they normally take 2 and half to 4 months to return your passport with visa, in some luckiest ppl in the past they received passport with visa in a month or month and a half but usually they send you after 2 month or more, read previous threads

I ve read on this forum that once u sent ur medical, it is forwarded to india for processing. They(india) may take 10 weeks to return the results of the medical. Once the CHC-1 receives the results from India then they say medical results received rather than Remedical received. For some cases Medical received is quicker than others but the maximum time is 10 weeks. I did re medical on 19 june and no news abt medical. But I hope we all hear some thing soon Inshallah.

Yep it is normal/abnormal. Can take anywhere from two to four months to receive the passport back.

Quick question for forum gang,

Any idea how long it takes to get a reply from cpp-o via email? (ottawa pilot)....

I sent an email and got a response in 9 days.... Mind you, I was surprised to have received anything at all.

Not necessarily. My wife's meds expired in April and she got remed in july
