Hey everybody,
I received two letters from Islamabad one stating I shOuld get medical done again in July.
However, medical letter was not the first time I got medical request. I received the letter for medical request in may and i got med done in may 2012.
Which I had done in feb 2011 n then in may 2012.

The other letter stating visa ready for issuance.
I send my passport on 24th July 2012.
But I haven't heard anything from embassy
Can Anyone pls help me how long does the process
Take??
I need to travel urgent on 7th sep.

My on ecas my address has been change to MY HUSBANDS canadian address,.. but appplication says its in process.. when it says decision made that means visa is issued??

y is my address changed? Im in pakistan.

that means your visa has been stamped and you will receive your documents (that you sent with application) on your new address

if you get your visa stamped
your visa will be good to be used until your last medical expires
technically your feb 2011 medical is already expired and your may 2012 medical is good until may 2013
so this way you will have alot of time to plan the stuff and travel

and dont worry too much about online status for some ppl it never changes anywayzz

Quick question, how long does it typically take after you send CHC proof of relationship (pictures, contact, money receipts etc...) pluse additional forms before they contact your for re-med PPR etc... taking into account the mail delays to Afghanistan.

if you get your visa stamped
your visa will be good to be used until your last medical expires
technically your feb 2011 medical is already expired and your may 2012 medical is good until may 2013
so this way you will have alot of time to plan the stuff and travel

and dont worry too much about online status for some ppl it never changes anywayzz

getting re medical request without any objection letter means the VO is satisfied of ur relationship and all that is left are ur background checks.. right ? and after that you ll get ur ppr..
but when can u know u have been put in an interview list ?
do they get normal additional forms requests and re medical and all that too ?
what is another way of knowing if we r put in interview que except for the notes ?

You are on the right track If you've been asked to re-do medical then it would imply that immigration officer believes that your relationship with your spouse is genuine. Sometimes CHC sends re-medical and passport requests at the same time. If that is not the case, then re-medical request comes first followed by passport request a few days/weeks later. If the relationship is considered genuine then CHC does not usually ask for additional forms. My wife wasn't asked to re-submit any additional documents and she received both re-medical and passport submission requests at the same.

Besides the notes, I am not sure how you would figure out if you're in the interview queue or not. Perhaps the sponsor can contact his/her MP and request for an update on the case then maybe?

Sister I pray you get your visa ASAP...sounds like urgent issue...when did your address chane to husbands? My wife submitted passport day before you and medical same time but nothing.
