yes the consulate gives u a no./address of the place from where you need to get remedical done. There is no interview when u go for re-medical. Ur wife/husband will contact IOM (most probably) give them ur passport details and other info as request and they will let u know of the time and date you need to be available to get ur remedical done.

please correct me if im wrong
what i understand from this is that you have to submit your passport at doctor's office/ medical place/ IMO or what ever you wana call that place
but the point is that now you have to leave you passport at that medical place and they will send it to CHC to get the visa stamped on it
plus they will aslo do your medical at the same place and send your medical results along with your passport to CHC

rather then the old system where you wait for ppr after getting the medical done and courier the passport yourself.
am i right?

i will try to clear for you.

if you get re-medical+ppr then you have to go the doctor and the doctor sent your medical result directly to new delhi and after checking the new delhi forward it to CIC in Isalamab and for the PPR you have to sent it separtly to CIC through Fedex or TCS.

and if you get only PPR same as above sent it directly to CIC by currier,

Thanks

yeah that is the old system and there are like 3 doctors just in lahore and many more in other places recognized by CHC but what i have been reading here kind of tells me that may be CHC is now giving you a phone number or address of a doctor to go to and that doctor's office is doing more then just the medical services :o

when you had received medical they will write you all the doctor contact details which has been accept by CIC and it is up to you to which one you go and get an appointment . but they are not able to sent your passport too.

correct. they will just see ur passport and return it back to you.

You have to show ur original passport for the medical.

if you have received ppr letter along with re medical you will be required to do medical first and then send you passport by courier mail to CHC-ISL.

IOM stands for International Organization for Migration.

They also do medicals for Australia, UK and a few other countries

Hi,

I received File number earlier started with F0000, now last month CHC issued another file number starting with B# alongwith document request, so far no news, on Ecase only F# is working it is not accepting B#.
How long it may take more, we already submitted Re-PCC, suplementry forms last month. Medical expired in July.
any Idea!
Thank you,
